The medical staff that helped deliver my baby on 11/14/2020 were so trusting and put my anxieties at ease. I attended my birthing by myself, but I felt supported through it all. They made me feel confident that they went through procedures accurately. They motivated me to keep calm with good rapport prior to, during, and after the procedure. I'm glad that I chose to have my baby here. I loved the STRONG team work and education between one another and for myself too. Thank you.

I would like to give a big THANKS to McKenzie in your gift shop. My friend was arriving by ambulance and I wanted to have fresh flowers in her room for her. Mckenzie made that happen! My friend arrived at 2:55 pm and the flower shop closes at 3:00 pm! Thank you so much McKenzie for going above and beyond your call of duty! The world needs more good people like you sweetheart!

Wow! I had my breast biopsy done there last week and it was my first time visiting the facility. The amount of friendliness that every single employee there has is super comforting. They diagnosed me with breast cancer 2 days ago and appointed me with amazing specialists; I love my nurse navigator Lindsay. That place is surreal! Highly recommend.

I recently had a 2 level spine fusion surgery at your facility. First, Dr Todd McCall is my surgeon and did my surgery 8/17/2020 and so farI feel great! I was in the hospital 3 days. This was by far the best stay at a hospital that I have ever had! Every single person was extremely nice. Facility was clean. The staff was professional in the halls and very quiet at night. The nurses, doctors, physical therapy, the aids, and even room service people were extremely nice! Best experience! A nice, clean stay and kind staff makes the recovery process even better! Thank you and please keep up the good work!

A space-age medical facility with amazing doctors and awesome patient relations. I have never been in a hospital with such nice, friendly people in my life. Everyone had a smile and a positive attitude. Dr. Todd McCall did an exceptional job on my spinal surgery. Hats off to everyone at this hospital.

Crash victim in waiting room with dry blood on face and neck collar complain of pain, young waitstaff at counter like he ok WTH.said 4 hour wait..left ..insur ins says only hospital choice I have switched insurance!! I want to start by saying that i am a past employee of OSF of 8 years . Before Nov. 2015, i was proud of this hospital and that never changed . In Nov 2015 that all changed. My father past away on Nov 29th 2015 and still to this day , i am unsure of "how" he really passed away. There was no Dr. There to speak to me or my mother as we stood by his bedside the morning of his death. Days up to leading to his death .My mother who suffers from mental illness, was accused of being intoxicated ("because God forbid anyones behavior be erratic and non logical , while they watch a loved one die"), another nurse said to me when i asked her about the "real update" on my fathers well -beingQuote- "I cant imagine what your family is going through""You all probably need to go get drunk and relax"(chuckling). WHAT IN THE HELL??!! I reported ALL of this!! !! I contacted the Ceo of OSF , left message ..NO ONE EVER CALLED ME!! I feel like i will never be at peace with my fathers death and its very unfortunate. I am hoping i am still able to obtain her medical records. .

I had a spinal surgery at OSF Medical Center on 9/7/2017 and received the BEST, absolute BEST, care I could have asked for from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. I was greeted warmly by everyone who I came into contact with.
I should also mention that I am VERY PICKY when it comes to medical care because I am an ex-CNA, and ex-LPN, so when it comes to medical care I'm quite picky. I was even given wonderful treatment when I called back with a question the day after I was discharged.
I could not have asked for better care then I received when I was there, and after leaving there. They also called with a follow-up questions to see how I was doing. I highly highly recommend OSF Medical Center.

Horrible experiences. Struggled to get help for six months. Never able to get healing therapy. Over medicated with opioids and other drugs. Care provided caused my health to deteriorate. Finally discontinued care from this organization. Spent three months getting therapy and procedures from other medical providers. In the end the pain and harm I suffered with from OSF was healed. My care provided by OSF compromised and caused deterioration of my health and quality of life. I suffered severe health and life related consequences due to the extremely poor care I suffered with while OSF managed my health. Even though I was making monthly payments on open accounts, OSF sent me to collections. Had to engage IL AG to protect my credit and prevent harassment by AFNI. Flee this provider if you value your life and credit rating. Shalom

Worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. Seriously thinking about having a home birth next time. The staff was incompetent All but one nurse. The staff did not listen to anything I had to sat and was more concerned with protocol than the actual patient. You are treated more like just another number than an actual patient. If I'm dying I would rather die at home than come to this hospital to get treated.

Worthless. My gf went in having heart issues and in tears and we had to wait for 5 hours before they even wanted to do anything. Like they took her vitals and didn't even really ask any questions to better understand why she was there. Then Everytime I asked when she will get to go back they told me whenever they can then tell me if I keep asking she'll be pushed back. Like it's not fair that she's having heart issues and feeling dizzy as well as passing out and having issues breathing and they just put her on the bottom of the list.

So just know if you're dying stay home. These worthless ass people won't do anything. When we got to the back room BTW the doc said oh you should have been brought back as soon as possible.

Bottom line. If you're dying stay home. Just die. They don't care here and to them you're a pay check not a person. They should be fired and restaffed with ethical people.

This hospital is freezing cold in the er room it takes at least seven hours to be done at the hospital. My dad goes to osf hospital and they give him medicine to quit the pain but always send him home still in pain and hurting. They do not care about their patients and the staff is rude

I was admitted to the hospital twice in the past 2 months and I did not have one negative experience. I was cared for with such care and professionalism. Everyone worked together as a team and my care was the most important thing to them. Thank you for making my visits comfor table and caring.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My complaint is the "gender neutral" bathrooms. You can call them whatever you want, but that's what they are. They show the symbol for man or woman. So, you know what that meanswhen I tried to use one the seat was up and there was urine all over the rim. They were ALL like this!!! I was stunned and saddened that I could not find a ladies' restroom in this Catholic hospital. Please, America, and OSF, be considerate that God created us as men and women.

Last Tuesday my daughter and I had a flat tire in the parking deck. We were unable to get the spare tire to drop down. I asked for assistance and Officer Peck and Officer Jatkowski pump up the flat tire and they told us the fastest way to get to Firestone Tire. The air was leaking out of the tire at a pretty rapid pace. We made it there right before the tire went flat again. Thank you to OSF Security!

I spent 7+ hours in a FREEZING cold ER room in spite of walking in with lab work showing a bad bacterial infection in an implanted device. I was septic so no question that I would be admitted . First, rooms should not be that cold. It made me sicker. Having multiple ER rooms on the same thermostat is not an excuse. How can you possibly keep an acutely I'll patient comfortable when you have multiple rooms on one thermostat. FIX IT! Blankets are not adequate when arms and chest must be exposed for medical needs. Secondly, leaving a patient lingering in an ER room for hours on end when you know they are going to be admitted is unacceptable. If you are dealing with a high census then stop elective surgeries that take beds that are needed for acutely Ill patients. Third, leaving a patient who has been cleared for food with NOTHING, not even a cracker or ice chips for all day is inhumane and unacceptable, obviously they are already in distress being in an ER, food is a part of comfort care for a patient who is at your mercy to be fed. Failure of a doctor to correct the chart is negligence.

I can't thank the doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff at OSF enough. They saved my live and treated my family and I with great care. I was traveling back home to Missouri, when my wife had to call for an ambulance. I was in God's hands and He sent me to a great ER in Pontiac, IL, who after stabilizing me placed me in the hands of Dr. Anderson/Dr. Marshall's surgical team. Their staff kept me informed throughout my stay and took great care of me. Although the circumstances were less than ideal, I thank God for placing at OSF. While I recovered, they ministered to all my physical and spiritual needs, May God continue to bless this Hospital.
