Watched one of their drivers motoring eastbound on I-70, mile marker 174-5, 8:15am, 13 Dec 2017, with a burrito in his left hand and a smart phone in his right. What was guiding him?
Very friendly people and "spoon" our tour guy was great. He had great personality and was very friendly.
My group and I went snowmobiling today and had a blast! Tall Paul was amazing! Food was excellent!
Had an awesome excursion on the ATVs. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure and lots of fun!
Look, I'm debating a 3 star but I think 4 is okay and here's why. We did the jeep tour, and I was disappointed our family of 4 had to share the jeep with another group, esp for what we paid.. Totally possible I missed that detail though on their site, no clue if they mention that.. The trip takes you on a trail you're welcome to do in your own vehicle on public land. For the price I guess my expectation was that we'd go on actual trails through streams, maybe get into a little mud, and have more of an adventure. Lunch was good. I'd recommend renting the ATV's or side by sides and blazing your own trail even though I'm not sure how much adventure you can get into in that particular area. Staff was friendly!
Sure skiing is unmatched in Summit and Eagle Counties in CO, but an often overlooked adventure awaits those wanting to get away from the long lift lines and crowds on the slopes: Nova Guides. Shane Murphy and his crew offer epic scenery and and great service on trails that can be appreciated by families or the adrenalin junkie. Even if you have never been on a sled (and it took some convincing for my wife) - make the stop. The views from Vail Pass are like no other. Thank you for providing the opportunity to create lasting memories that my family will be discussing for years.
Wonderful time Snowmobiling. Greg and 'Spoon' and the entire staff were easy to work with and the snowmobiling was fantastic! Lots of terrain so decide if you want to make a day or 1/2 day of it. Lots of fun on the sleds!
Best viewsbest guidesbest rides!!! You can't go wrong with Nova Guides!! Ask for Chris Millerone of the best in the business. Great for families or couples and try the performance trip if your looking for a rush. I have lived in the mountains most of my life and tried most of the toursthis is by far the best in Colorado and won't use anyone else!!! Worth every time spent.
Fantastic experience- worth every penny. Guides very helpful and knowledgeable. Included lunch was very good. Equipment was very well maintained. Views on the trip were absolutely amazing. They provide free loaner boots and warm weather gear.
We had a blast! Its off the beaten path but the experience was great! The tour was scenic and the snowmobiles operated perfectly. Well worth the time and money. Ask for "Wizard" the guide. He was very helpful and knew the area. The "heating tent" and hot chocolate was an added treat!
Buyer beware. I rented a snowmobile January, 2017 from Nova Guides, Inc. The snowmobiles that Nova Guides, Inc. rented looked nice. The terrain in the area was beautiful with flat cruising areas and verdant mountain trails. The trails themselves were rough and bumpy, which made the experience interesting and fun. However, when I returned my snowmobile I was charged $353.75 for ski damages on top of my 3 hour rental $198.09, totaling $551.84 by a big strong scary looking man at the front desk for a bent right ski. Buyer beware of coercive tactics Nova Guides uses to collect their extra money. The terrain is rough, but the snowmobiles rented apparently cannot handle the terrain. Nova Guides, Inc. is happy to try to bridge that gap by making customers pay for any and all snowmobile repairs when returned.
