I have been a customer of this vets office for about a year now, and I can't say I like the service one bit. The only reason I keep going back is because I have not found a good alternative yet. They are very pushy on treatments you really don't need, they are WAY overpriced, and if you have an animal with anxiety around new people they are not helpful at all. My cat is very afraid of new people and hates the vet, so every time I go into their office it is a nightmare. They refuse to touch him and just want to sedate him. This last trip to their office I went on today was the worst I have experienced so far. I took his temperature, I swabbed him, and I put him on the scale. The only time they touched him was when the doctor had to check his heart rate, and even then I held him. The vet tech was not helpful, and they both were very pushy on sedating him, which I did not want to do. It is part of a vets job to handle fussy animals, and I got charged $122 to do their jobs for them. The exam alone was $49.50, and I did all the work. I am paying way too much to do their work for them. Luckily I volunteered at a vets office before, so I knew what I was doing, because the vet tech was not helpful. Will not be going back ever again.

Overpriced/shady! I took my mother's cat here to be groomed because it was the only vet in the area that would sedate. Just wanted groom and annual exam/rabies vaccination. Their prices are much higher than others in the area. And they tried to sell me lots of unnecessary services, even though I explained my elderly mother is on a fixed income. They were very pushy about trying to add the extra services. After we finally agreed on the services, I made sure to get a written quote. Despite all of this, after the cat was dropped off, they insisted that more services were required (the same that were previously only recommended). I was out of town and had no way of getting the cat picked up. Extortion in my opinion. Don't use this vet!!!

This is your typical corporate style veterinary office. They are always playing on your guilt to spend more money. The last straw after being a loyal customer for 10 years was when they would not approve the purchase of heart worm medication from an online pharmacy because it had been 4 months since his last test. My pet had tested negative for 10 straight years at this vet. I don't know why I have waited so long to find another vet. Just laziness I guess. Don't make my mistake.

I just recently started taking my dog there and I love them they were really nice and you could tell they really love pets, unlike a couple of other vets I've been to.

Both Vet Doctor & Staff were attentive and knowledgeable regarding my aging cat.

Quick entrance to the exam room with the tech to begin the history for the appointment.
Dr. Wallace was and is gentle with the cat and offers suggestions for special food for better cat health. The special kidney wet food did make a difference with the energy level of my aging cat. Glad for the non-pressure info to help the last years of this alley cat, who will be surrounded by love and few aches and pains.

This is my second pet who was treated and cared for by the Northwood Oaks staff. The staff treats my cat as a special member of my family. I recommend this business with no hesitation.

Everyone at this outstanding organization is beyond excellent!!! Not only are they knowledgeable, professional and helpful, but caring in every way. Dr. Jennifer Wallace is one of the finest veterinarians I have ever known and I have known many. I have been a client of this hospial for almost 20 years.

Walking through the door, I am always confident that my dogs will receive the best care and attention needed. In fact It's like coming home! I can always depend on everyone there being in my corner. Also, I might add the feeling you get at this hospial is complete trust.
