This is a wonderful place to go and rescue a dog or a cat. They take great care of the animals here. It is very clean and the animals are so well taken care of. My wife and I visited to drop off several donations of crates, blankets, toys and more. While there the staff was extremely friendly and gave us a tour and let us know they take in dogs and cats from kill shelters and will keep and take care of the dogs and cats until adopted. Great people and worth donating time or supplies or adopting one of their friendly dogs or cats.

We recently adopted a dog from Nates. It was a great experience everyone was so nice to work with. Our dog Lauren - now Maggie is such a joy. If you are looking for a new pet definitely visit Nates before going anywhere else.

My family had adopted from them before, came off as rude but loved our puppy. Remembering that, went back and waited in line for 30 minutes before we were let in to see any. Got in to the first one, and was suddenly told that since we were not 21, we could not be there or have any interaction with the dogs, and were ejected from the premises. Rude people and questionable care of the animals. Never going back or donating to them ever again.

This is a wonderful place to come and adopt your next puppy or kitten ( or cat or dog) from. The animals here are happy and well cared for until they find their forever home. It is also a great place to volunteerI Love it there!!

Great environment, pets get loving attention and great care from the volunteer staff, very careful to get to know the dogs and cats, provide medical care aa needed, and match the pets with the best forever homes. Woukd highly recommend looking here if you desire to adopt a rescue dog or cat

The only thing that upset me about this place is that the little homes for the dogs and cats had no air conditioning, or even fans. The poor animals were just sitting in a hot box and looked miserable. I was just standing in there for a second and was sweating instantly.

I thought the kennels for the dogs were pretty small. Also, outrageous prices! I'd rather get from the Humane Society. At least the dogs were will taken care of. Staff was actually pretty rude.

What a fabulous place! We got a personal tour of well cared for dogs. What a nice facility for these animals to have for their in between home.

They had the most well behaved animals out of all the shelter's I went to. Very clean well taken care of dogs. Their adoption fee is higher but you get what you pay for. My dog I had gotten there had been returned twice within a month before we got him and he's the most well behaved dog, I don't understand people. He doesn't even like furniture and hates coming inside. I love my Frankie

After experiencing the loss of our "Sammy dog", in the spring of 2015, we decided it was time to begin our search for our new canine rescue companion.
We were very impressed by our first visit to Honor animal rescue. Steven was very knowledgeable and helpful,as he showed us through the many "houses" containing canines of all shapes and sizes.
While we did not identify the newest member of our family on this trip, we are planning to go back later this weekthanks!response / report this review -

Great place until a man who wasn't helping us looked at our app and smugly denied us because we have a Yorkie who isn't neutered. He explained they don't want to give a spayed dog to a great multi dog home because the other dog could have puppies that could then go to a shelter. The dog we chose "will be adopted" but not by us.
