Always takes care of my two babies, Nova and Koda, second time my primary doctor has changed though. Other than that would recommend to anyone! They love to play with your dog. Makes Nova happy.

I’m new to the area and my original vet is in Tampa. I woke up this morning with something wrong with my old girl who’s 15. Out of panic I googled the closest place open. I walked in, normally they don’t accept walk-ins but they must of noticed the panic in my face and I couldn’t control my tears. they agreed to look at my old girl. Here I thought I was going to get the worst news and pay a ridiculous amount of money. Not only were they ALL so sweet and attentive, they assured me she still has a lot of life in her. She just has a pretty bad ear infection. They were just so so sweet, the doctor even gave me a hug to comfort me. Needless to say. I won’t be going to Tampa anymore. I fell I love with the staff and the doctor. Best place ever. Best price ever. Thank you guys!!

Have been a patient of Dr Campos before he even opened his first hospital. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. The staff is nice and Dr Kunisch is a wonderful vet too.

Started coming last year. First saw Dr. Campos for regular physical. He was super, very caring and gentle with my little guy. Since, I've had to come back on emergency issues and have seen Jennifer, whom I also think is a great and caring vet. Both in July and August they squeezed him in so I can't really complain about the wait. Vets are always expensive like any medical facility but I feel like they do the best they can to keep cost down and care up. You can tell the Dr's and staff here not only care about animals they love them.

Best vet around. All the staff is exceptional here. The doctors are kind and compassionate. The techs are knowledgeable and helpful. This is the third fur baby they have taken care of.

I live in Port Richey but still go here. The Dr's are terrific with all my animals. They offer very affordable care which makes the little drive well worth it. The ladies and gentlemen at front remember you and always take a moment to be kind. :)

San Francis used to be an amazing place with amazing people. But after one of the doctors gave my sheltie ivermectin, which all white footed herding dogs should avoid, we were reluctant to come back. But when we needed a vet for my cat who was dropping weight so rapidly and was refusing to eat or drink, we came back. We went in on Friday and it was a typical visit and was given a diagnosis of a possible uti. Then Monday we were told it wasn't a uti, it was liver fluke and given more of the antibiotics that were giving her a SEVERE adverse reaction. And Tuesday, when we thought she was on her last breath, it was not liver fluke it was FIP and a uti. All while the cat is still not eating, drinking, and is skin and bones. Now we are SHOVING food down her throat to keep her from dying of starvation and we requested records so if my family needed to seek treatment over the weekend we had something to show. Looking over the records, the commentary in the records were either entirely false or making snarky stabs at my financial situation. And that was the last straw. I will not be back as we've gotten 2 misdiagnosis, we are "just treating symptoms" at this point, no help in the fact that my 13 pound cat lost half her body weight, and the horrible note commentary. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother making an appointment.

I had an issue with the care my dog received at this vet hospital, but Dr. Campos had the integrity to investigate the issue and even fixed the issue. I have always had a great deal of respect for Dr. Campos because of what he does for the community and because he does so much to help homeless and shelter animals. I was glad that his character and conviction to always do the right thing shined through in this situation.

Stay away from this Vet Hospital all they care about is money and have
Drs that are dishonest and under qualified. They may be good for shots, draining anal glands and micro chipping but if your pet has a real issue taking it here will probably mean it has no chance of surviving.
My cat was very ill when I returned home from vacation. I am new to the area and needed a vet. First off, Dr Pelfrey, misdiagnosed my cat and gave him meds for a stomach infection even though all the symptoms that I told him about pointed to kidney failure as i later learned, yet this Dr. did not even consider that. I thought possibly the cat was diabetic as he guzzled water and peed buckets. (He had done this for about a month and I had no idea it could be his kidneys or would have taken him in before I left for a three week vacation.) The next day after seeing Dr Pelfrey the cat was critical. The girls that answer the phone are clueless and when told the cat was critical scheduled an 11:00 am appointment when I told them I needed to move my original appointment up as he was dying and needed to come right in. My original appointment was for 10:30 am.
I took the cat in on Friday and the Dr diagnosed it with kidney failure and his phosphate and creatine levels were through the roof. They then billed me in advance for meds to take home the next day and other services I had not yet received. The next day, Saturday, they phoned and wanted me to continue emergency treatment for him for 72 hours almost $500 later.
I had since researched what the Dr had told me and knew my cat was stage 4 due to his phosphorous and creatine levels and his chance of surviving were slim to none as well as his quality of life would be poor. I went in, got my cat and took him one hour away to my vet in my old neighborhood. She informed me that he was too far gone and it could cost up to one thousand dollars to "maybe" save him. If she could save him, he might live a couple months or who knows but would have a poor quality of life and need daily meds that could cost a great deal. She said she had never seen a cat with such high phosphate levels and that even if he survived he would have extreme kidney damage and that the kidney does not heal itself. She also said, I could take your money too but I am being honest. Two days wasted at this animal hospital in Spring Hill and $500 dollars which could have been a thousand dollars had I trusted them and continued treatment with them. I loved my cat but opted to put him to sleep because my previous vet told me even if by some slim chance he lived, he would have no quality of life.
San Francis is not honest. The Drs misdiagnose and honestly, I wouldn't take a dead animal there.
If you love your pet and want honest answers and the best treatment for your beloved pet, do not take it here as they will drain your wallet and give you false hope. Not to mention, I had told him what my cat had been doing for a month with water and peeing and once he realized by the blood work it was kidney failure he told me it was Acute renal failure caused by drugs or antifreeze. It was Chronic renal failure. There are four stages of kidney (renal) failure and Jack Jack was in stage 4. I paid a lot of money for nothing and this Dr at San Francis should have been honest but wasn't and told me the cat had a 50/50 chance. He should have also given my cat phosphate binders to contain the poisons in his system and did not do that either. So two wasted days that maybe by some miracle, with proper meds and diagnose my cat could have pulled out of it and had a better chance as he did not shut down totally until the day after he saw this vet. Also I was told that the medicine I gave the cat for a stomach infection probably made him worse. My $500 dollars is gone and even worse so is my beloved Jack Jack. He was only five years old.

San Francis Veterinary Hospital has been my vet for over 7 years. They are the best in Spring Hill!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gia, Tracie and Courtney for their outstanding service. I went to get my dog's nails and anals done. They were having a special on microchipping. I was very leary of having it done, but Gia convinced me it was the right thing to do so that if my dogs ever got lost, they had a very good chance of finding me. I'm so glad she convinced me because now I have peace of mind! And Tracie was amazing!! She explained everything to me and did both dogs in no time!!! And they did not even flinch!!! Then Courtney helped me to be able to receive the special food I buy delivered to my home!!! Such a blessing since I am disabled and have a hard time getting there. I love everyone in that office!! They all are so compassionate and are there ready to help!!! Thank you girls for making my visit so pleasant!!!!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is friendly and the prices won't wreck you. I rescue cats and dogs and bring them here for a glimmer of hope.
