If you’re looking for fast, friendly, exceptional, honest service this place has it all! I’m new to the area and was just needing a simple oil change. I ended up getting a warm welcome, fresh cup of coffee from their cozy waiting area AND my oil changed all in reasonable time. Thank you Northtown Auto Clinic! I will definitely be coming back again!

Great serviceno hypeexperienced service techscourteous & respectfulclean facility. A little off the beaten path, but easy to get to. Prices a bit higher than other places, but the quality of service is much higher!

Excellent auto service and excellent customer service. They are not the cheapest but they do very good work and are honest--which is much more than I can say for the similarly-named shop on Burlington who tried to rip me off. You'll likely need a day or more notice for an appointment.

I wish there was a way to give Northtown Auto Clinic 6 Stars !!
Last Saturday afternoon my wife and I were traveling back to Illinois after a short vacation in the KC area. As we were heading south on I-29 the temperature indicator zoomed to H and I pulled over immediately. I called AAA and when they arrived the driver and I both looked at the problem. We both thought a blown water pump. He then towed us to Northtown (AAA approved garage) and we left the van there until Monday morning. Brett called me early Monday and, after testing, told me it was a bad thermostat, thank goodness. They installed the new one quickly and we were on our way home, problem fixed. They were fair, responsive, and VERY professional. Thanks, Northtown, from a former stranded motorist in need !response / report this review -

Had an unexpected flat tire on the highway looked up the closest one and found these guys. I definitely recommend them to anyone! Very friendly and helpful staff and they were able to squeeze me in and out without an appointment. 5/5

I am so Thankful for Northtown Auto Clinic the customer service and courtesy I got from Erin was the best I got from any auto mechanic shop. I drove to KC to see my daughter when I pulled up to the house my car was hopping as I applied the breaks, and the idle was so low it almost stalled my car. We call Northtown Auto Clinic and Erin was amazing, she advised us that they could not look at the car today, but they did have a drop key box outside I could drop the car off Thursday night and they would look at it in the am since it was 4:30 and they closed at 5:30 my daughter and I decided to take it there now, I spoke with the Mechanic and advised him on the way there my check engine light came on and I was really nervous about that. He was amazing and told me he would have to do a diagnostic test on it gave me the price and advised me of every extra costs possible. They knew I was from out of town and I needed to make the trip back home on Monday, the following day he called me told me what was wrong and the costs to repair it and that it would be done that day. I was so happy knowing that he could have raised the price knowing I was from out of town and needed that car back by Monday morning. Needless to say I picked my car up Friday afternoon and it is running like a champ. I want to Thank you for your kindness and the great customer service. Northtown Auto Clinic you are the best!! Thank you for being honest and straight up with me. Not only are they honest, fair, and great at their work, they care about their customers. I was so shocked and happy when Erin called to make sure I made it back home safe and asked how the car was running! You guys are the best!!! Found my new home for car repairs when I move back to KC!!

When i went in there they were rude. So i didnt poke them when they made me upset. They never called me about my truck i had to show up. They are crazy. 37.16 to put the negative battery plug on. Next they told me i never had a oil change, when i get serviced at Vavoline before my date. That price to change oil and filter was 99.97. Next my brake line was bad leaking they said. 99.99 to fix it. There is alot more i can show. This is not ur family friendly place. Always invest in a great machanic but never pay a con man. It was cheaper to take to a dealership. I know i took it there right after. Lastly they told me my anti freeze would freeze that it wasnt the right type. Is Peak no good?

Northtown Auto Clinic repaired my rare 2000 Volvo V70R wagon. I trusted them due to the experience of their owner Ed, a master mechanic extremely knowledgable on Volvos. They did routine work such as scheduled maintenance, and major mechanical such as replacing a driveshaft and control arms. During this multi-day service, the staff regularly kept me informed, advised me of a few items to attend to I had not scheduled (a broken fluid tank, radiator hose replacement), and delivered the car on time, at their estimated cost. Some of the frequent inquiries I made were promptly answered, which gave me confidence the work was being done correctly and would be done on time. During this visit, Northtown also arranged for a Window chip repair to be done while the car was in their shop. I appreciated this coordination! I would not hesitate to return after this first visit.
