I love the message every week. The Pastors relate the Bible to real life situations. I cry and laugh at every service. So happy I've became a part of this community.
Music was wonderful. Jon's message was a blessing and brought to mind changes needed in my life.
We are members there for a number of years! It is a great church.
Great music in either main sanctuary or chapel (acoustic guitar in chapel), solid Biblical teaching of truth in an engaging and inspiring way. Very open and un-intimidating to visitorsa great church body!
I have been attending Northbrook for two months and Pastor Mike and the rest of worship team are amazing. He teaches off the bible and relates scriptures to real life situations. The scriptures are put up on big screen along with the words of the songs we sing together. It is a beautiful place to worship and very inspirational. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
I could sit here and talk about worshiping god, but instead I'll focus on what I feel like when at a service every time I go here. I generally like to blend in to the woodwork when I go to church so the back row is my place of preference. I don't like attention drawn to myself in that setting. There are certain activities that promote interaction but you can certainly opt out of those. I don't really care for the music performance in the beginning as it feels a bit forced and contrived. For that reason I show up a bit late to miss as much as I can of that. They always have a good sermon however. This is the reason I go here. I always come out of the church with a better outlook on the discussed topic of the day and I don't feel like I'm guilty of anything in the past. It's a more optimistic experience, and I would recommend new people definitely show up, just not on time!
Our worship team is incredible and Pastor Mike always inspires my heart and assists me in living a Christ centered life.
I have been going here for over 15 years and couldn't say better things about our church. God is doing some amazing work and with our Senior Pastor Mike guiding the way its remarkable to see the impact we're making.
I have been attending Northbrook for many years and although it has grown, all are welcome and it still feels like home.
