Smaller caring community that doesn't pressure visitors to join, very active in community. Can come as you are, not as you think you or others want you to be. Built the valley forge park enclosure, sponsors neighborhood block party, involved in family promise, feeding people at Hope Center and in Downtown Milwaukee. Working with an orphanage in Dominican Republic.

Our family found this church 5 years ago. From the moment we first walked in the door, we felt welcome and accepted. Pastor Pete is amazing and very down-to-earth. The congregation is friendly, service-oriented, and fun. There is something for everyone, in every stage of life at this church. We have each grown tremendously in our faith since joining Gethsemane. I invite you to visit and see for yourself how GUMC can enrich you, your family, and your relationship with God. Perhaps, like us, you will find a new spiritual home in this church!

This is the church I grew up in. I am going back home to have the boys baptized here. Such a great community of people and church family.
