Had my vehicle repaired at North Collier Collision after a front end collision. Insurance company had me do a Snapsheet estimate. For those that do not know, this is a company that has you take photos of the cosmetic damage and they review the photos to give an estimate of repair. This way of doing an estimate is not accurate, I know this. When I dropped the vehicle off I had requested that they do a full review of the car and verify that all of the damage was accurately reported on the Snapsheets estimate. I also asked that before they start any cosmetic repairs to go over the car mechanically because I noticed the alignment was off and my brake pedal was dangerously soft. I get a call 3 weeks later (length of repair was due to the influx of damaged vehicles from the hurricane) that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I arrive to find half of my vehicle repaired, they repaired ONLY what was on the Snapsheets estimate and disregarded my request for another estimate by NCC. I point out the remaining damage and asked what was going on with the braking issue. Instead of abiding by my request of doing a mechanical inspection prior to starting repairs they decided to move forward without looking at the mechanical portion. This put the insurance company in a bad position, now we have a cosmetically repaired vehicle that is not safe to be driven. The mechanical portion of the repairs could have easily totaled out this vehicle due to its value. NCC is a preferred shop of my insurance company so they agreed to repair the vehicle mechanically. I arrive to pick up my vehicle today, alignment is good, brakes are still soft and were incorrectly diagnosed by their mechanic and the drivers side of my vehicle was missed AGAIN during the second inspection. I still have missing trim and scratches down the side of my vehicle. The mechanic blamed the soft feeling brake pedal on brake pads "being a little low." Considering my vehicles brakes worked perfectly fine prior to the accident I HIGHLY doubt my brake pads "being a little low" would have anything to do with this issue. I was then told by Chuck (Manager) "We are a collision center, not a mechanic we do not diagnose issues like this." They had no issue sending their diagnosis to my insurance company and saying there wasn't anything wrong with my vehicle thoughTo top it all off, I had asked for them to give me a day heads up when my vehicle was going to be complete so I could make arrangements to pick up my vehicle. They called my on a Friday and said my vehicle could be picked up that day. This brings up an issue because they had also told my insurance company that my vehicle was complete. My insurance company ends my rental coverage the day the vehicle is deemed complete. I am out of town on Friday and cannot pick my vehicle up and now I am liable for three days of rental coverage to pick the vehicle up Monday 11/13. This place is a mess, 0 communication, 0 attention to detail and no consideration for customer concerns. 100% will never go back to this business. Beginning to end was a complete disaster, my vehicle isn't totally cosmetically repaired and I have a vehicle that hardly stops. Thanks North Collier Collision, keep up the good work.

***UPDATE*** Later in the day after I towed my vehicle to my home I did a more detailed inspection. The windshield has so much over spray on it I had to take a DA and compound to even make a dent in it. Unbelievable amount of over spray on the entire car. It's almost as if they didn't tape any of the car off when they painted it. However, I know they taped it off because I found a giant piece of tape on the roof going from one side of the car to the other, a piece in the drivers side fender well and right next to my now misaligned front bumper on the passenger side. Headlights were not adjusted properly when they were installed (it's ok NCC, I fixed that too). Run from this place, you'll be talked to like a child and get a hack job repaired vehicle. No exaggeration.

Everything turned out fine except for a tiny scratch on one of the repaired doors. A bit disappointing but I barely notice it. If your coming in for a repair make sure to ask for scratches to be gotten rid of near small patches.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They quoted us a fair price on collision damage to one of our vehicles.

Unfortunately, it was not favorable. The car was t-bones in the right rear. I received the car and it was riding rough. They released the car 1.5 months later with a bent rear axle, sticky trunk opening and interior door jam gaps that didn't touch the windows. After an additional $6,600 charge over the $10,800 charge, the car was released a second time. It continued to ride rough. I got a second opinion and took it to the OEM dealer and there was a bad right wheel bearing and mis-aligned trunk with missing rubber liner. An additional $1,700 charge. Maybe I was there at a time there was too many other cars. I drove an hour each way to North Collier Collision and took time off work. It is not good when the insurance company and agent agrees when work is far below average. F score.
