Great pizza. Great pub sandwiches. Nice beer selection on tap. Unique decor papered with dollar bills.
The pub was a hidden jewel.. tucked away on small streets. The damage big pine key endured during Hurricane Irma still left debri all over but this place was fine.. and cleaned up! The walls are covered with dollar bills stapled from previous people. The ceilings are covered.. everywhere. Food was ok but we also didn't know what to order but the experience was better. Was definitely worth it!!
Come for the experience! It's a laid back keys spot with plenty of character. Food-acceptable. Drinks-served in plastic. The staff and ambiance make it fun and enjoyable.
A destination for sure. You have to search to find this place as it's off the beaten path. We made a detour on the way to Key West to dine here and were not disappointed. I had the cheeseburger pizza which I thought was great. The tons of money stapled every where will leave you astounded
A little dark/grimy seeming inside, but overall a really cool place to stop in. The line was long and the food smelled great. We stopped in for a beer
and admired the key Deers running wild across the street.
Would recommend checking it out. Won't see many places like it.
“On the way to key west, do stop here (big pine key. Thank me later)”
While making the itinerary, I read somewhere about it and almost forgot. While passing big line key, we saw no name key signboard and rem this place and went there
Now this pub has an address and it is famous. 10-15 yrs back, you have to struggle to find it.
The place is literally at a deserted location. As its menu, the main page saying, lousy service, making it perfect. The whole place is covered in $1 bills.
Todd was our server and he was very friendly. He helped us with the menu.
We ordered Caribbean chicken pizza-tuna sandwich-conch fritters-draft beer
Conch fritters were way good as well pizza. The tuna sandwich was ok.
I bought one souvenir glass
History of dollar bills- in the late 70s, one server had a crush on peer server and he was leaving dollar bill expressing his love on it always. Since then its tradition out there.
The walls have dollar bills everywhere. Now most people think this is cool, I'm indifferent. Since the place is in a concrete building that is dark, I just hope the A.C. has a good filter with all the bacteria on those bills in the reteraunt. The food was average and that's is saying worlds given the options of other places in the keys. The pizza is not good if your a pizza or foodie snob for that matter. Service was attentive but again, don't have high expectations for this place.
Great atmosphere! Definitely a place to stop in and enjoy a cold one. Food was delicious! Lobster chowder and White shrimp pizza is a must try. Pair with the No Name Amber ale :)
Very interesting little place. Decorated dollar bills allover the wallsand a come as you are type place. Food was really good. My husband and son had the grouper sandwichand I had the prime rib dip. The silver dollars (fries) were awesome. Perfect amount of seasoning on them and they were delicious. We will be back upon our next visit.
Whats an incredible place. Nice to have a beer while playing on the free ping-pong table. Decoration is also incredible. Ask to put a tips on the wall, an unforgettable moment 😂
Low key in the lower keys! Good service and great atmosphere. Good stop for a quick bite; apps, pizza, and fantastic smoked fish dip
Tourist trap -- avoid! We had high hopes based on the other reviews. The out-of-the-way location on No Name Key is lovely, and the place itself looks cheerful and charming. Then comes the actual dining experience. Maybe this was a special place once, but what we found on the menu was overpriced, second-rate sports bar fare: soggy pizza, wilted salad, a mayo-slathered "signature" tuna dip with Nabisco crackers). At 5PM on a Sunday night the service was slow and erratic. One appetizer arrived 30 minutes before the salad and pizza--with no explanation, but plenty of intrusion from the water who kept asking me to tell him how amazing the food is. Then when we needed water, he disappeared.
The final insult: The waiter tricked me into buying a pint-size beer, not revealing that it was in a $10 "souvenir" glass. When I explained my mistake and asked if I could pay just for the beer, his response was basically "Sorry dude, you ordered it, you pay for it." Not at all the spirit of the Keys.
Great pizzas, great salads, and Key deer! The pizzas are deep with great sauces too. Kind of off the path, and very popular with locals - for good reasons. The ceiling of the bar is filled with specially signed and autographed dollar bills making for a very unique dining experience. Aside from the delicious food, it's a great space for usually finding the adorable Key Deer!
This place is so good. Great food. the staff is awesome and we love it. We go every time and once I even ran into my old neighbor from Palm Beach County! What a cool surprise. They have a mounted key deer here!!! You will never see that elsewhere. ( At least I hope not. This one is from the 70s) We have always been treated like regulars here.
