My favorite restaurant in Rochester.

I am frankly shocked that the reviews for the Next Door Grill are not higher.

The food here is excellent. It's fresh, natural, creative, and delicious.

The wine list is phenomenal, especially wines by the glass. Often times, wines by the glass tend to be cheap and low-quality at most restaurants because they cannot afford to let high-end wines spoil. However, the wine list here is one of the best that I've ever seen.

The service is second-to-none. We are always happy with the quality of service, friendly and knowledgable staff, and we have yet to have a poor experience.

I'm not sure what else I can say about the Next Door Grill to compliment this restaurant.

I have also hosted a few work events in the private room with about fifteen people and they were a hit, as well.

You have to try eating here for a special occasion or a date night.

Next Door has great food and service. Their drinks are excellent and their food is creative & fun but not stuffy. The menu changes a few times per year. This is a go-to restaurant when we have guests from out of town, in particular; everyone can always find something on the menu to their liking. Excellent wine list as well. This restaurant lives up to the Wegmans brand.

The food and waiters are always excellent. The waiters and waitresses are very helpful and attentive. The restaurant can get noisy. I enjoy going there for dinner with friends.

We had an amazing experience at Nextdoor! Beyond the deliciously fresh food and chic ambiance, our server was by far the best we have ever had! Fast, knowledgeable (great recommendations), accurate, funny, and even gave us a history lesson about the food! Kudos to Nextdoor for hiring and maintaining a fantastic staff!

Had one of the best dinners ever with my friends! Everything was made fresh to order and special dietary requests are not a problem. They even brought a separate bread basket with delicious gluten free bread for one of us. I highly recommend Next Door!

Good place to eat for formal dinner. Food is good. But sushi is below standard. You can buy sushi at wegmans for 6 bucks and it tastes better than sushi here. The roasted duck breast is very good.

Don't be put off by the fact this is a restaurant tied into a a grocery retailer brand, the food is very well executed and the space has fantastic ambiance. It can get busy, so recommendations are recommended.

Pro tip: in the summertime, ask to be seated at the bar patio. It's tucked away unassumingly and serves the full menu. Great way to relax and catch up with friends in a less formal setting!
