Had an absolutely amazing time here! Great for groups or even alone. Very relaxing time and the facility has everything you need. The group option is extremely convenient and well organized. I wish I started coming here sooner, and I definitely plan on going back

GREAT way to get outside and enjoy nature - the float itself could take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour depending on quickly you go. The rapids are actually more intense than I imagined they would be so be careful going down them and hold onto your tube!

I want to start off by saying overall if I was in the area again I would give this place another shot, but only if the tide isn't low.

Parking and getting your tube is a very quick and pleasant experience. The actual tube ride was slow and relaxing with a decent view, but I would not recommend going on a low tide like we did. If it's a low tide you will get stuck A LOT. I haven't encountered this at other places, but is ultimately my fault since I didn't research the place before hand. Towards the end of the ride there is a very fun small rapids part. After your tube ride is completed you can expect a long wait till someone comes and picks you up. I would suggest packing lunch in your cooler and then you can have a picnic while you wait instead of counting down the lost time. Additionally I would like to add we were treated very rudely by one of the staff members. The acting manager Alyssa did handle the situation very well and rectified the situation. The employee who treated us unprofessionally did come back and apologize for the way he acted.

Great place to float the river, and they also have great service. Just bring your food for the grill and they provide the rest

This place is fun and it's great for short runs. But the New River is touch-and-go because of the dam Upstream. Sometimes there is plenty of water sometimes the water is so low the inner tube or your bottom catches on every single Rock in the river. Definitely call ahead and check the water depth.

Our family had an amazing time for very little cost. They will carry your cooler to the end for you. You can jump off some of the rocks at the end or just hang out on them. We saw Eagles and blue herons. The water was crystal clear. Note: Bring water shoes, the ones they sell fall apart.

It's all about tubing down a stretch of the New River and having a fleet of buses that take you back to the starting point. Plus there's a lively campground and a small snack bar. There are great views and a train that comes by on occasion. The staff seem efficient and work to keep everyone moving along. If all of that sounds like your thing, then go for it!

Located in the middle of nowhere. You have to pay 10 to get the tube, they won't let you in the water without shoes. The water is extremely shallow, we got stuck multiple times. Got out at the ending point the bus was broken down, they told us "it wasn't broken down they just had to put it back together". So we tried to walk back and they told us not to walk for safety purposes. But it would be 15 minutes before a new bus was going to be there, So we walked anyway. Then when we got back to the park everyone kept questioning us why we were walking and we didn't need to walk that we should have waited 15 minutes for the next bus plus wait for everyone to get on or off the bus. So we returned our tubes and left. Won't go back ain't worth the drive, gas, or 10 to rent the tube.
