I transferred from a Georgia clinic and have been sick for over a week, I have been requesting to be moved up but the Doctor here is the most unprofessional and rude doctor I have ever met and from running pain clinics for 15 years I've met some horrible ones, this one takes the cake!! He's rude and actually yelled at me, he acts like a child. This place is highest dose in town and the medicine is very weak. If I wasn't in a new town, I would have relapsed by now!! Looking for a new clinic today. Please don't bother yourself coming here!! I chose to edit this because there are some people here that try to make up for the unprofessional Dr, like Brittany and Damien, these ppl are super nice and helpful. The nurse was awesome too, and a few more who I don't know their names, so it's not all bad but beware. I wish I'd originally went somewhere else.

I would give them 4 stars except for one major problem which has come up with MANY other patients - The use of benzodiazepines along with taking methadone. There have been cases of people recreationally using both and dying, but i've yet to see one with a person on his prescribed dose or a dose close to that unprescribed I ordered a substitute for xanax online, etizolam. I have the proper scales and use liquid volumetric dosing. Well, this all went downhill when my 2 year long injury (which on my 2nd there day driven by myself ran me into their trash can totally sober). I was given a test by my counselor is how I can prove that.

Another big problem is that is ONE person notices something they deem "abnormal", they will take you into a room with about 6 people including the busy on the clock doctor. They will ask you from dumb to maddening to "wtf" type of questions; but BE CAREFUL, because if you fail you will hear what happens to you, number 10345!

I was subjected to a series of questions intended to confuse me, and there is no doubt about that. This was done to me on 2 occasions, the first I had indeed "an alternavive substance similar to a benzo" in my system. The Second though, I DID NOT! I believe they were harassing me and using their power against me (they didn't dose me either times, sending me home SICK)! Please note that I had a multiple fracture on the leg that they said the limping caused me to be intoxicated.

Brought a friend and watched how ppl continually cut in front of others like a bunch of cock roaches. Surprised someone hasn't been in a fight.

Love it because I have to. It sure beats the alternative, it's made a major positive difference in my life. It may not be perfect but remember everything is only as good as you make it!

Rebeca and the staff are very caring people to chose this line of work. Or extremely desperate for employment to deal with us ( customers ) as we are a hard group of people to deal with. As I stand in line each morning and I can't help but notice that some of us are very child like in our complaints about this facility. God bless the company that set this place up, even if their number one motive maybe a profit, the by product is helping a group of people the majority of people shun. And if the studies are true, dramatically lowers crime in the community. Because let's face it, we gotta have it meaning, we have a SERIOUS habit. God bless us all

This clinic has potential ,but it is inundated with staffing issues, a poor location and a substandard facility, the potenial has withered away with my patience as well.
I normally do not like to write poor reviews but Metro ILM and more importantly Colonial Management need to hear that they have done a tragic job at refining this clinic. And unfortunately there is not another private methadone clinic in New Hanover County so we're stuck.
