A very convenient store, with plenty of options. The deli has a large fresh variety. The hot prepared meals are a hit. I had the pot roast not once but three times and it is legitimate. The only down side is the front counter which sometimes has a line, or no one at all. But worth the wait. Love the owners, very friendly and charming. I recommend it.

Convenient and wide selection for its location. Prices aren't bad either. Inquire inside for permits to kayak on the reservoir

An Oasis in the desert! My buddies and I were fishing "the Sink" and stumbled upon this place. OH MY GOD! I had Jamies brisket sub with slaw on top. DELICIOUS! Everytime I come down to fish I stop in. Everybody there is so hospitable. The store is clean and inviting. I cant believe some people say its expensive. If they went to Roscoe to eat their minds would be blown away by the prices. Excellent deals with the Pizza Specials too! One of my favorite places!

Very friendly storekeepers and a lovely little store! I stopped by after my hike to get a sandwich(blazing buffalo+bacon wrapped) and it was absolutely delicious! The prices were also fair for a tourist area. Definitely would recommend tourists to stop. Y the deli!

Such a great shop filled with wonderful people.
The store has some really unique products I'm not sure you can find anywhere else in the state. I was having some car troubles and the staff were gracious to help me get back on the road again, they were kind, polite, and they exemplified the greatness of upstate NY. Coming from NYC it's truly a pleasure to receive such a warm welcome and a helping hand from a stranger.
I cannot wait to return to the Neversink general store. It was a highlight of my week.response / report this review -

After reading the article in the paper about their successful trip to the Jacob Javis Center, giving high accolades to Jamie, their star chef, I thought maybe I should drive out there, and see what is going on.
I was lucky enough to meet both the owner and Jamie. Both very sincere, endearing, and very congenial people.
I had a garlic burrito breakfast wrap, with freshly scrambled eggs , cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, complete with a tasty salsa. I truly enjoyed it.
I found all of the staff there I encountered absolutely nice and friendly. I would so recommend one to stop in and benefit from their magic in the kitchen, and from their kind spirit.
I feel this place has truly something special going on, and I wish them only the best and much success.response / report this review -
