  Always greeted when I walk in the door! This is a well stocked Ace and the people here are engaging, helpful and pleasant.

  I walked through the door and was greeted immediately with a warm welcome from the staff. As I was wondering aimlessly looking for ideas to buy gifts, EVERY available staff stopped and asked if they could help. Their customer service today was top notch and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

  Nelson's ACE is our absolute favorite hardware store!! She can shop the Huge gift shop that's just loaded with cool items, as well as the large selection of housewares, while I can take my time shopping the large selection of hardware and tools! As with most every ACE, the staff is very helpful, and at this ACE, especially knowledgeable and just plain friendly! As it's the only hardware store in town, I'm glad they have such a comprehensive selection, because so far, they have never not had what I need! Great Job Nelson's ACE!!

  There's no "big box" hardware stores anywhere close, so if Ace doesn't have what you're looking for, you're in for a long drive.

  I'm amazed! I go to Nelson's out of curiosity. Their revenues from my family exceed $2,000 per year, because they stock almost anything one can imagine. They even have an outstanding housewares section.
  
  We've purchased everything from a lawn mower to a $700 chain saw, to a $1,200 coffee maker! Need a Lodge pan? They have it in stock. Plumbing, electrical, tools, power tools, fasteners All you'd expect.
  
  Dock accessories, garden, lawn, fertilizer, bug spray Now you get the picture?
  
  Carhart's work clothes! Boots, hats, gloves.
  
  The employees are fantastic, the owners and management must be excellent! Thank you for helping my life to be more pleasant in the Northwoods!
  
  And, by the way, I suspect they can fix anything.
