  Cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for a few days. Hosts were very helpful and provided us with everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back.

  Have stayed here twice for weekends in winter. I think the most accurate way to put it is that this place is authentic. You may not find the latest and greatest, but you will find a genuine Wisconsin North Woods experience, and I will take that any day.
  
  Cabins were clean, appropriate amount of space, decent space between them. Nice to have firewood supplied; we could have used some firestarter but we made do. The lodge has ice skates and some classic old games such as pinball and a bowling game -- very cool. Easy access to the Schlecht Lake area for skiing, along with Winter Park and trails east of Minocqua.
  
  Comfy couches, a nice fire, a table for playing games made our evenings relaxing; felt like we were in a winter wonderland. Highly recommend.

  Disappointed and disrespected!! I was very interested in renting a cabin here. I called to check on the availability of the cabin I was interested in. The woman on the phone promptly denied any opportunity to make a reservation a month ahead of time even though the cabin was available, and then hung up on me without so much as a thank you for calling.
  Absolutely terrible.
  Can I give a negative star rating??

  We went in the off season (November) and could not have had a better time. We are all from the city and this was the perfect late fall escape.
