We have stayed here for quite a few years. They no longer have the general store, or gas pumps. Kind of a bummer, but there is a Casey's store within a block from here. The staff were nice,( New owners as of last year ) the rooms haven't changed. Last weekend we were in the cabins in the back, very nice! This weekend we will be in one of suits. Good place to stay!

The facility was very clean and quiet. The Lark has both short term and long term units available. They also have Log Cabin units. We stayed in one of those. It was so quiet that we were able to just relax and refresh ourselves.

Not too bad. A bit pricey, but the room was clean. Decent breakfast. Wifi was a little slow. The rooms could use an update.

The rooms were a little dated but very cute. The rooms were Large with comfortable beds in a quiet area. There was a refrigerator microwave and a coffee machine in the room. The staff was very nice too. When we pulled up there was a fire going outside with chairs all around it for guests. It was a great place to stay.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our cabin was very comfortable. The continental breakfast offered many choices, even for a gluten free need. I would recommend The Lark Inn to others.

Cozy furnishing, good location in Tomah, and easy driving distance to Ft. McCoy. Also have affordable rates for long-term stays. Overall an excellent stay.

Not sure what happened with the one reviewer on here. Unless their rates went up I usually only spend upwards of 50 a night. Yes it's by a trailer park but normally it's pretty quiet and the owners of the trailers are quite nice. And the trailers are pretty well kept. Their continental breakfast isn't the greatest I'll admit but you also get free DVD rentals which I usually have to pay extra for if it's even offered at all and the staff is generally friendly. Not sure if everything has to be white so they know it's clean or not but my rooms have always been cleaned very nicely. Yes even the beige bathtub. My only complaint is the wonky wifi. Sometimes it works like a dream. Other times you might as well use your data plan if you can

At first the motel looked adorable and clean, until we got inside. 120 dollar room with bathroom small enough my 5'0 grandmother could touch all four walls at the same time. "Continental breakfast" really means a box of stale, moldy, bread and cereal. Rooms look clean, but I can't say for sure because nothing is actually white. Not even the bathtub. It was directly in front of a trailer-park in which owners drive through the motel parking lot and blare their music all night long. The motel lost its apppeal rather quickly.
