Great beach, tide pools, and views with lots of places to have picnics and play in the sand and stuff. The arch isn't really accessible except at low tide but is visible all the time. The tide pools are cool to check out too and are easily reached. There is also ample parking on nearby streets

I went with the most beautiful lady in the world. On a beautiful day.
To see the beautiful Monarch butterflies on migration.
Greeted by a nice and pleasant knowledgeable staff in the welcome center. Even provided some tasty apple to us.
Such a nice and peaceful relaxing way to spend part of the day.response / report this review -

This is a really great park. It has some good wheelchair and stroller friendly areas. The natural preserve is very pretty and has some nice interpretative kiosks. The Visitor's Center has a cute shop and some fun info on the local flora & fauna. Their specialty is the monarch butterfly migration. The beach is really nice with very soft sands and the waves weren't too strong. If you catch the rides right, the tidal pools aren't too challenging to get out to. The only real downside is that parking is limited, so it can get tight later in the afternoon.

Nice park. Not too large but very pretty. Nice Arch and other rocks are pretty as well. Can't really see the sunset to well. Lots of surfers I seems like pretty good surf

This place is a quaint place without the big crowds and a commercialized atmosphere. In fact, you have to bring your own food to enjoy your longer stay in the beach. The view of the place and the ocean is spectacular. The beach front is pretty spacious to spread a blanket for yourself or for the family to just relax or enjoy the waves.

Beautiful beach! Parking on the street is an option. The beach has barbecue area and picnic tables. On Friday morning, it wasn't busy. West cliff drive is a great walking path and it stretches all the way to the wharf. It's more of a whale-watching , easy walk/run kind of area.

An amazing beach. It's far enough from the center of town to not be too busy (though it can get crowded at times). Up the coast is the fantastic Seymour Center and a bunch of tide pools that, while difficult to get to at times, are all really fun to look at. In the winter, there thousands of monarch butterflies in the woods nearby. The whole area is one of my favorites in Santa Cruz and is well worth a visit.

This is a very beautiful beach! And yes i know it is gorgeous no matter what but it is BEST on a sunny day which Santa Cruz has trouble in getting as it is a foggy city! You have a couple things here! You have the overview of the natural bridge, then you can park inside for a fee where I would suggest ark outside on the curbs which is cheaper even if you have to walk further. There are large bathrooms with benches inside for those of you who are brave enough to swim and need to change as well as an outside shower! The beach, however, is filled with people enjoying their day and for this I wouldn't give 4 stars but everything else this place has to offer is better!
You can start heading to the rocky path that hugs the shoreline to the right and if you keep heading that way you will come to tide pools where you can see numerous sea creatures! Starfishes, crabs, sea snails. And no, there are no sharks in the tide pool unless they are some sort of liquid sharks. Actually just the idea of a liquid shark is quite terrifying if you think about it! A shark that can be solid and liquid at the same time!
Anyways back to this beach. It's a nice beach and it is far less crowded than Santa Cruz boardwalk beach!response / report this review -

Natural Bridges is a beautiful jewel in the California State Park State system. The beach is iconic, the tide pools are easily accessible, even the free short term parking atop the cliff where West Cliff Dr. ends is a fabulous contribution which helps thousands of people better experiece the Santa Cruz coast. There are a number of nice walking trails and a boardwalk perfectly positioned for close encounters with migrating monarch butterflies.

Love the different sections of rock. The beach is a fantastic place to relax. Amazing tide pools with lots of sea life to explore. Bring some water shoes to climb to the different beaches along the coast line.

Pretty, but not a very big beach. The sand drops of quickly so it's not great for wading or playing in the water. If you're bringing small children you'll have to watch them very closely.

Beautiful beach! Parking is very close by, street parking and a parking lot. Sand is really fine and clean. There's some tide pools to check out as well, a very neat place.

Coming from the east coast, I had only heard of Natural Bridges through the Sublime song "Paddle Out." But, Natural Bridges was a little underwhelming. It seems to be lauded for its paid public beach and its small nature hiking paths adjacent to the beach area. It's a nice retreat from Santa Cruz proper, but was very crowded when I went. Still, it's a nice place, but costs to park there and use the beach. There is a nice bicycle and walk way that runs along the coast and connects to Santa Cruz beach area.
