Nathan's is the closest to a real deli in Detroit. I lived in Manhattan NY for two years. I have eaten at Katz Deli many times, Nathan's Deli it's not Katz but it's really good, friendly staff and very fast service. I eat there all the time when I'm in downtown Detroit and they have free parking lot. Thank you very much Nathan's.
Ridiculously high prices, small portion sizes, rude staff who constantly get orders incorrect/mixed up, sandwiches are always either dripping with grease or bone dry, fries are tiny, dry, and gross, onion rings aren't much better, they're only open until 4 pm on weekdays and close on weekends, the only reason they're still open is because there is literally nowhere else to eat in that location other than Jimmy Johns which is also ridiculously expensive with terrible sandwiches, save your money and appetite and just walk to Greek Town
One of my favorite delis. I love the food here and love the family that runs it. Very nice. Great place to grab lunch.
Overpriced, sub-par food, and they pour dressing in the sandwiches as if they're loosing their minds. I found a hair in my sandwich. NEVER. GOING. BACK. And you live in the heart of Detroit. WHO CLOSES AT 4. Place sucks a--.
Nathan's is the only real deli in Detroit. I am from New York city, that's all I have to say about Nathan's Deli, and I eat there all the time when I'm in downtown Detroit. Thank you very much Nathan's.

Delicious tasting ruebuen on rye. You gotta try it. The staff were very kind. Great place for lunch or to grab a bite togo.
Great prices, food, and service. Only a few tables, but it's not usually crowded. Except for lunch time. :(
This is Jim Davis and I have been very pleased with Nathan's Deli. It was recommended to me about a year ago and I have been going almost everyday since then. The food and service are exceptional! Those who say it is too pricey should try the menu items or specials. Quality trumps price in my opinion.
