Food is amazing and happy hour prices are reasonable.if you have like 2 hours to spare waiting for apps and a poorly made drink Makes me sad because I would go here waaay more if they could get their service together.

Went to Floods Sunday, I have the lamb chops, mac & cheese & greens.. the food was great, nice relaxed crowd! Music was nice! by 11pm the place was packed! service was fast drinks were flowing! 5 stars!

Food was great. Service however was all over the place. The waiter seemed so overwhelmed with tables, he didn't have time to even really wait on us. We'd ask a question or ask for something and he'd be gone before we could even finish our thoughts. Way too crowded for people who want to just enjoy a meal. Live band and regular music going all night at the same time. That was irritating and loud. Food was so good tho, I'd consider going back if the place was a little slower than what I encountered

The catfish and shrimp was amazing. Chicken was a little dry. My drink was really good as well. Loved the service and ambiance. Karaoke night was really good. Great restaurant/bar. It was crowded on a Sunday night so I stood the entire time. Get there early.

In the distant past Floods was a great bar for live music, great food, with a great staff. Now with the DJ side and the live bands taking what seems like 2 hour breaks after arriving late it's not so good. The bar staff on the side where the live music is also need training in professionalism. They are ok, but can often be too friendly to a point of insulting. I'm alright with it but they don't know me like that.
Also, all the security dudes (and 1 female) security at the front door… seriously! It's like a blockade of big people that is a deterrent. I HATE getting patted down. It only happens at the black bars but "we" claim to be peaceful, but have no trust because we know the truth about ourselves. Though i don't see Floods as a place of trouble so why the body check? Why can't our people have a welcoming entrance?response / report this review -

Rita is a excellent server! Very friendly and funny! The food was hot, fresh, and good! Good music and good drinksyou just can't beat the place! Keep up the great work Floods!!

I would recommend going during the week, on weekends this place turns into a club atmosphere. But the food was amazing!

I love the food here. Never really had any complaints about the food. However, the bartenders vary in who I would say is courteous and well organized. My friend and I went to get a drink or 2 the other night and the bartender refused to make her drink. He was doing it in a jokingly manner but this actually unsettled my friend. We laughed it off but in reality she wanted her particular drink. His reason was that the drink was "weak". So he made her another drink which was actually really good. But it's not what she asked for. I also think that they need some bar etiquette training. Another girl was making drink behind the bar and as she scoops ice it was falling all over the bar. Ice rolled off the bartop and it was just be sloppy. The atmosphere is pretty good depending on the day and time that you go.
