Never Again!!! Wish I could give ZERO stars. I could be dying on the gurney and I'll beg to go anywhere else besides this place. I had the displeasure of going in with shortness of breath, abdominal pain and high blood pressure. I was taken by ambulance and the team stood there while the nurse took my bp, which moments earlier had been 145/118. The nurse didn't have the cuff on tight enough so my bp registered low. The paramedic saw it and said, "no, no, no. that's not right. get that cuff back on her." The nurse took it again and it was 145/115. The medics left and the nurse took the cuff off, left the room and never once came back to check on me. Because I have a connective tissue disorder that can cause some pretty serious things, and because I have a heart concern--and because my doctor's office TOLD me to go to the E.R.--I thought I was doing the right thing by picking the hospital closest to me. But when the doctor came in and yelled at me for being there I felt humiliated and embarrassed. Not only did he yell at me, he had the gall to grill me about my medical history and he did this openly and loudly, with another patient and her family right next to me. I'm in my 50's and this little creep of a man was telling me that I needed to get over it and move on and scolded me for being there. When he left the room the patient next to me apologized to me for the doctor's behavior. That's how nasty he was. What a joke. I'll never waste his time, or my time again.
I love this hospital. I had surgery there for my knee in may of 2010, and they treated me has if I was the most important person there. Just had a MRI there and may experience there again was awesome. I will be returning for sure, and probably sooner than later.. Thank you for the care..
