These guys were awesome! I was driving my 1972 Ford Bronco to Manistee from Detroit for Labor Day weekend. I stopped in Ludington for gas and noticed a bad oil leak - not a good thing 4 hours from home and at 5:30 on a holiday Friday afternoon!

Bruce was able to look at my truck right away. They put it up on the lift, found the problem, and spent the next 45 minutes fixing it - staying even past their closing time! When I asked for the bill, they told me only to "tip my mechanic." I'm so thankful I found them!

Used Muffler Man of Ludington for years, having pretty good luck with them and felt treated fairly until "Curt" showed up. Curt is more of a huckster than mechanic - talks a good repair with reasonable estimate that always inflates beyond belief after repair has begun but incomplete. I got an estimate of $109.00 on a tune-up that turned into 633.00 with the mystery parts discovered completely worn out, and I was charged for six new spark plugs on my four cylinder engine. I won't be recommending this place to anybody anymore.

My car broke down on US 10 I barely made it to them. I don't know anything about cars. The guy there named Mr Scott was so nice. He explained he would do a test and go from there. They are honest, they could have charged me for anything but they didn't. They just fixed what needed to be fixed. They have definitely earned my trust. I am happy to say I have finally found a mechanic and I can sleep at night.
