How can you not love Mr. P's? The food is great, there is always a fantastic local beer selection on tap, and the people are the best. Stop in and say hi to Amber, Jen, Chris and pizza maker extraordinaire Mr. Nacho. You'll be glad you did.

The pizza has an amazing taste. It's wood fired so there is a nice "chewy" crust. Sauce is slightly robust with a nice hint of sweet to tone it down. The cheese is very fresh and abundant.

Probably the best pizza I've ever had. They have a great selection of craft beer and they have a special pizza of the month. Cash only, but they have an ATM.

Pizza was great as usual. Had about 7 or 8 IPAs or Pale Ales and a few lagers. Ran out of the only stout they had on draft, but what can you expect when here are so few other beer type choices. Also had a pale ale listed as a dark ale. Changed it on the board when I pointed it out. Waiter was apologetic and offered to exchange . Pizza was fast to arrive, hot and crispy. Overall quite enjoyable.

Fast accommodating service. Staff very friendly.. 8 in our party.. First time there extremely satisfied with our Salad and pizza was phenomenal!!! Can't wait to eat there again!! Family friendly clean and overall pleasant visit!!

Expensive, cash only, hole in the wall restaurant. You'll usually find a few uncleared tables during lunch hours. Keeping the tables clean is not a high priority from my experience there. I recommend reading the disclaimer at the back of the menu so that you understand what you're being charged for and how some of the add on are determined. The time it took to have my order taken was noticeably longer than the other restaurants in the area. The pizza wasn't worth what they charged me for it in terms of quality nor in terms of taste. It's a nice touristy place to each if you don't mind spending a bit of cash, but there is definitely simple improvements that could be done to improve the overall quality of the restaurant. If improvements in pizza quality and price are made along with general house cleaning, I could definitely see myself giving this place 5 stars the next time I'm in town.

Nothing beats wood fire baked pizza.
The dough tastes almost like a soft pretzel..
It's that good. The sauce ? Phenomenal.

Monday night. April 17, 2017. Not the first time ordering. Usually very happy, but.Tonight we ordered a large Margherita pie to go. The crust was way too thick making the pie soggy. Is there a law down here in Lower Slower Delaware against making a thin crust pizza? As far as the Margherita version of the pie we received, it really was just a cheese pie with some basil thrown on it. For Mr. P's info, here is the definition of a Pizza Margherita. It is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella fior di latte, fresh basil, salt and extra-virgin olive oil. Our pie in no way resembled the latter. Maybe it was a night the regular cook was out and I will give Mr P one more try, but will ask if they can make it thin crust and not a large blob of dough. It really seemed that whoever made the pie tonight took the "Large" designated dough but actually made a medium? Maybe that was why there was a half inch body of crust for the base and a 2 inch roll at the ends? Would love a reply from Mr. P at some point?

Moving from the Philly area with its great pizzas, I was concerned that the 'za in Lewes DE wouldn't compete. Fear not! Mr. P's creates fabulous pizzas that have a crispy (but not burnt) crust and offers a great list of draft beers. It's the best pizza in Lower Slower Delaware, hands-down!

Even though the wait was a little long, the workers stay busy. They have that friendly aroma and they just invite you to relax. I like the atmosphere.
