I enjoyed going here when I was younger, however in my last visit I was left sorely disappointed. After waiting for some time we had to CHASE for a waiter to take our order. After finally getting our order taken it was relatively smooth sailing. The plate I had (arroz, frijoles negro y picadillo) was rather disappointing, the rice especially had a strange after taste and I found the bill at the end to be way too expensive for the quality of food and service we were given. In the end this place is okay if your in the mood for cuban and don’t feel like cooking, however there are most certainly better places to hit up for cuban.

It seemed like it was going to be a nice place, strangely gloomy but nice. Beautiful maid greets upon arrival and sees you to your table. Menu is brought and seems good Cuban food, prices also seem great. Time passes by and nobody comes to take the order. Half an hour later a look around brings up the fact that not only your order hasn't been taken but also none of the tablea near by have been served, odd but meh. Another half hour goes by and you start thinking there is something wrong. Well there was, restaurant was not gloomy, it had no electric power and thus the kitchen was not working. How come nobody tells that to the customers?

A busy little place on a Tuesday, but for the forth time to try Cuban food. I was let down, the food had all but 0 flavor. There is better places to eat but it was satisfying. Also didn't kill the pocket book to eat here. Will not make a special trip but might stop if near by. I can always try something else on menu.

Came on a thursday afternoon at around 3. I was forced to wait fifteen minutes to even get a menu. When the waiter finally came he didnt even introduce himself before he asked me what I wanted. Although I commend him for talking to me, because no one apart from him definitely did, everyone else was practically mute; they didnt even bother to look me in the face when placing down napkins or water. I ordered a pan con lechon. When the meal came the plate was burning hot but the food was absolutely cold; I asked the waiter what kind of restaurant reheats the food it gives to its customers when they pay for it to be cooked on the spot, but he blamed it on the amount of people there were. When the second order of pan con lechon came I found a bone as big as my finger lodged inside of it. Apart from the food however, when I tried to order one of my favorite flavor shakes they told me they only had one kind of shake available, and even that shake was mediocre, one could tell that the only thing that gave it the flavor was the gallon of sugar they poured in it. My mouth waters for Cuban cuisine constantly but if this is the ultimate standard they hold their food and service to then I don't suggest it's in anyone's best interest to visit Molina's Ranch Restaurant.

Locals place, hands down the BEST Cuban food in Miami. La Carreta, Versailles all are below this place as far as quality goes. 5 stars because 6 were not available.

This has to be by far the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Every server pitched in whenever your glass was low or you needed more bread. They even put your food in the to-go container for you. I'll definitely be back!

After a few times here, the food can be great or not so much. Today my husband and I came prior to dinner hours and our service was quite poor. There was no offer to refresh our drinks or another glass of wine. We were able to get service

Horrible experience. The food was fine, but the service left me thinking, "is this real?". When our group of 4 entered, no one greeted us, or made eye contact. We were seated in a booth that was missing place settings and the bus people tossed the missing tableware before us without so much as an "excuse me". We asked about the sandwiches, it's a Cuban restaurant after all, and the waiter could not provide us information about several menu items (the menu does not describe what the item contains). It seemed like he didn't know what we were talking aboutit was on the menu! He even said, "the sandwiches here are no goodthe bread comes out hard." What?!? That's a quarter of the menu! And you're a server! All I could do was laugh. We decided on some of the other items while the waiter rushed us to order, and walked away in the middle of our questions. Like I said, the food was fine. One of us had saved about half of her meal, and the bus person took her plate without asking and threw her food away! (They did redeem themselves a little by bringing her a new order in a to go box). Even so, the service was so appalling I will never go back. If the manager would like to contact me, please do! I would be happy to provide some customer service training to your employees.
