Someone else commented that this place is creepy. I've never found it so. If you remember the all-night Kung Fu cinemas of NYC, or have ever lived in a small town with a cinema struggling to stay open, that's exactly the vibe of the Windsor Square cinema.

They're super-friendly, they're inexpensive, and the popcorn is delicious. The seating is a little dated, but who cares? If you go early on a weekday, you can often be the only one, or part of a very small group, seeing the film. This is great for folks with anxiety issues about being around lots of people.

I love this cinema, and it's my prefered place for seeing movies in Knoxville.

Older theater and it shows. They don't run new releases, but they are also the best prices in town on both movies and concessions. Great cheap family entertainment.

Take the kids here every once in a while. Pop corn and cokes seem a little high but when you average it out, it usually costs me about 10 to 11 dollars a person including the tickets. That's not bad for a 1 1/2 to 2 hour movie. The kids love going to the movies. Forget the money. Take the kids to the movies.

There are no dividers between the urinals, so when you walk in to the bathroom on a crowded night, you're greeted by a row of penises. But the price is great and the staff are just uninterested enough. The place also is kind of seedy. It would be a perfect midnight theater.

I have been here probably 50 times over the years. People come and go, hopefully the new AMC crew will help out.
It's a cheap theater. Cheap movies, sometimes the screens act up, sometimes the sounds goes out. It's all good, just adds to the experience.

Totally rundown looking on the inside and out but you can't beat the price. The decor looks like it's from the late 80's to early 90's.
On a side note there is a secondary snack bar in hallway next to the theater rooms that looks like it hasn't been used in years, and I was right it hasn't there's still candy (classic buncha crunch movie pack) on display that expired February 2016. No real complaints though, bought 2 tickets to see alien covenant an I enjoyed my self.

Been going here for years. AMC has taken over now. Things are changing. I still like the old crew that are still there. Great price for a movie can't beat it. They have replaced all of the old seats with new ones. Changed the coke machines and put the butter out where everyone can butter their own popcorn ( large is free refills). All in all I will continue to go! Yes it is an old theater but me & my hubby are content.

They got rid of their date night deal, and I paid just as much for the movie out of the major theaters as I would have for Wonder Woman or Spiderman as I did for Alien: Covenant. Will not be retuening.

There were three people working behind the concession stands tonight. Two of them done their job but the third boy did not. He did not help any of his coworkers tonight, instead he watched them tend to all the job duties. This guy Sat on a stool, laid his head back and went to sleep. Not one time did he greet any customer, smile at them, or offer any kind of help to anyone. Poor customer service to say the least

It's like 1/8th the price of regular movie theaters, so of course it isn't going to be something fancy. The staff is helpful and friendly, the bathrooms are clean and stocked, and they take efforts to make up for what they may lack in perfect, shiny newness. Like today, they were out of large size popcorns, so they offered free refills on mediums. Medium is already almost more than we can eat. It's really great to be able to just go see a movie without spending $50 for two people.

Number one, the prices here are unbeatable - $2.50!!! Love that!

I am disappointed that as a discount movie theater they don't discount their food and drinks, though, as that has been my experience at other discount theaters in the past.

Also, the theater is very old so I feel like I need a shower after watching a movie in one of their seats!

BUT, as a single mom it's all I can afford and you still get the full movie experience for a fraction of the price so I do recommend it if there's something you want to see on the big screen. A lot of times the movies are already out on DVD by the time this theater shows them.
