I struggle to understand why the Church is involved in education when its constituent colleges and institutions condone blatantly heretical/blasphemous teachings. From Christ's apparently rampant life of gay sex to the promotion of contraceptives on campus, one could conclude that the Church is either hypocritical or clueless. Perhaps it is time to reexamine whether these institutions should admit non-Catholic students and faculty or whether they should exist at all.
They have a disgusting teacher there named Dr Liew who has been teaching heresy and disgusting things about the Lord and must be fired. If this was really a Christian college they would fire him already!
It is disgusting and extremely offensive that you allow Tat Siong Benny Liew teach that filth to anyone. He has no business teaching any kind of religious course with perverted and blasphemous views like that. You have no business calling yourself a Catholic college allowing garbage like that to be taught at your institution. What the hell is wrong with universities and colleges in this country? Do you not have any dignity or respect? You should be ashamed.
Went here for a campus tour; the guides, staff and organization were tremendous and very helpful. So good, in fact, that my son applied and went for the interview - which was insightful and very professional. My son was so blown away by the experience that he ended up bypassing the "expected" schools to attend The CHC. We are so glad he did - he loves it and we, as parents, love it for him.
I applied as a transfer student to this university, had a gpa above 3.5, had excellent recommendations, members of phi thetta kappa, went to the transfer interview and got mysteriously denied. Admission officer on the phone and in person kept focusing on how I was too old to attend College of the Holy Cross. This university discriminated against my age instead of focusing on what I brought to the table! Im Brown skinned.
This is the top College in USA!!!
Hard. Wonderful. Life-changing. Inspirational. Supportive. Challenging. Beautiful. Hilly (hard to navigate on crutches for months on end with a knee injury.) Enlightening. Things I learned here many years ago are still essentials in my life. Thank you, Holy Cross.
There has to be bike racks here somewhere. It is accessible by public transit. It is 39 miles from the MacColl Field YMCA.
Looks like if your name is Justin stay away!
Awesome review! Got all the information in a very timely manner! Thank you very much
I love this place and I don't even go there
World-class education on a hilly but beautifully maintained campus.
Here, you will be brain-washed into the System from which, in all probability, you sprang.
Insidious, and overt, control shall be exerted by The Jebbies, and their Minions, in every,
and all, aspects of your life. You WILL conform, or you will be encouraged elsewhere. An
'education' is not what you will receive at ANY Jesuit Institution, but a clever, consistent,
well-thought-out and tried-and-true Indoctrination into your future role in The Elite. Much
like Herpes, it is The Gift that lasts a Lifetime (without severe Intervention). After (some)
years, there, I simply wandered off into The Woods. The 'god' served at Holy Cross is not
the one you might expect. Boot Camp for Hitler.
My experience and education at Holy Cross has been absolutely life-changing. As an upcoming graduate, I can say with absolute confidence that I would not have wanted to spend my past four years of undergrad anywhere else.
