My 89 year old mother and I went there tonight (not our first time by any means). We had a waiter whose name was Mike. Absolutely the best. Thanks to him (and the food of course) my mother and I had a very memorable and enjoyable night. Very important at this stage of the game.

Can't beat the Lobster special! Very fresh taste. Came to Boston for work and was recommended by a local, glad I listened. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I will definitely visit this place every time I'm in town

We were staying in the area and ate here our first night. Service was quick and friendly, and our meals quite good. The popover was a big hit.

I particularly liked the New England clam chowder. The base was creamy but not too rich and the clams large and tender.

Prices were good too. It's not fancy but you leave full and happy.

Dinner was delicious and the bartenders are the best. The portions were large so we had lots of leftovers to bring home. Great experience!! Thank you for another excellent memory. Harry, you rock!!

Always has and continues to be the best restaurant in Somerville. Catered my son's wedding 15 years ago, many small family event held in the John Henry room. Always, always a pleasant experience with fantastic food.

Fantastic atmosphere. Casual ambiance with formal flair! The bartender and servers are impeccably dressed and the service is top notch without feeling pretentious. We had the evening special-g beef tips with onions and the chicken pot pie. Both were heavy, filling stews. I strongly urge ordering popovers as a side to mop up the delicious gravy.

The meals came with browned/glossy yeast rolls and butter. I tried not to make a giant pig of myself. But gobbling and grunting was totally inevitable. I would not hesitate to eat here again the next time I fly to Boston. *high five*
