We have hotel hopped all over Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and so far this has been our best experience! The rooms we're very clean and even smelled amazing and the staff was super friendly when we arrived. We will definitely be staying here in the future and it's great to know this place is pet friendly, we can't wait to come back and bring our little dog.

We had a blast even in the snow. The room was nice and clean and did exactly what we wanted it to do which was a place to sleep and relax and a place to defrost after being out in 20 degree weather. The guy running it was very nice and checking in and out was simple and easy. The only part that was not the best is the location it kinda looked like it was in a bad part of town but no one bothered us and it was quite so no big deal. :)

The location was good and I like that pets were accepted. The view from my door was gorgeous. I did kill a few live roaches in my room while I was there so that really freaked me out. I was terrified of the bear that liked to hang out in the parking lot. I also understand that it's not pool season there but the shape the pool was in was just embarrassing. God knows what's living in there. Over all it wasn't a bad motel. Could just use some upgrades and TLC.

We just stayed here the week of Thanksgiving (M-F). It was clean, had everything we needed, and was within walking distance to the strip with two small children! The lady at reception was very pleasant, and we have absolutely no complaints about the room at all!

My ONLY issue with this motel, which I'm not sure how they would even be able to fix is their parking situation. We were never left without a parking space, but that parking lot for the side rooms is a disaster. MAYBE if they had assigned parking and opened up the end of the lot to allow for two way entrance and exit it might help, but I'm not sure what their regulations are in that area.

Basically, this room was worth every tiny little penny we spent on it, and I am so happy I chose this location for our trip! It is so great to not have to worry about the hotel of all things when you're trying to plan your adventures! Definitely consider this a top choice of you are financially conscious!

The rooms are very nice and updated. Very clean as well! This motel is also in a great, yet quiet location. I had pleasant experiences with all of the employees as well! They are also pet friendly, which was an important factor to me. I would definitely recommend this place! Good bang for your buck.

This is not your standard Motel 6. It is an Original motel from Gatlinburg past that has been renovated by Motel 6. The rooms are nice and clean and the service at the front desk has been more than accommodating.
It is a great place to stay on a budget. I mean, for real, your only gonna be in the room to shower and sleep anyway, right?

Not bad for the price. Pretty quiet with a friendly staff. Nice room. The only issue was there was no handle on the shower faucet and no way to really adjust the shower temp. Hot or cold. My wife though it was freezing. Other than that, we'd stay there again.

Made our reservation, fairly priced compared to other motels. Got to our destination, very tired and it was late. Pulled the sheets back to find crumbs on the sheets and stains from previous people who stayed in the room. Even had several long black hairs on the sheets. Went to the front desk, told him of the situation, offered nothing other than giving us sheets to go back and make our bed at midnight. Also plumbing issues, the room had a bad odor most all the time. Basically, the folks at the front desk turned a blind eye and acted as if these issues were no big deal.

I travel regularly, professionally and on a personal basis and never have I had such treatment or disregard for issues we faced that night from the staff.

Reserved 6 nights. Upon arrival room was completely disgusting. First impression was bugs crawling on walls. Smell was musty and floors were dirty. Toilet was loose and rocked back and fourth, mold on baseboards and corners in restroom. Beds were disgusting. There was absolutely no way we could stay here for 6 nights. Asked for a full refund, which will take 5 days to post to my acount!!! Completely outraged at my experience. Do not stay here it is a complete DUMP!!!!

Gatlinburg was a hoot! People were wall-to-wall, meaning traffic was impossible. The Motel 6 was off in a corner of town, but easily found despite that.

I was impressed by the staff and their friendly, efficient ways. Star was there for check-in and Miranda for the check-out. Both were great.

The room was clean and quiet. We even had a black bear as a visitor as I was checking out. Apparently that was commonplace.

Upon arrival no towels were provided for showering, also no hair dryer in the room. There wasn't a do not disturb sign for the door. Had to make multiple trips to the front office wait in line. Took multiple days to get Hair dryer. The beds were very noisy and felt like I was sleeping on rocks. I would have been better off spending $20 more dollars and going to super 8. Will not be back. The only good thing about motel 6 is hospitality. There workers were very nice. Other then that it's a dump. They need an update very bad. And location was kinda scary due to it was run down. Would not recommend this place to no one. Horrible experience.

To start off we paid for non smoking and were put In a smoking room. Not only was it a bad room but it didn't have towels and wash cloths and was also missing several light bulbs. We asked for a new room and was put in a room with one bed to accommodate 4 people. After further inspection this room would not lock due to broken latches. We finally asked for a refund and had to find other accommodations. Terrible experience at Motel 6 in Gatlinburg!

Motel 6 has EXCEPTIONAL staff. The motel is in the course of upgrading the rooms. Our room had a clean comfortable bed & we had good quiet night sleep. But they had redone the floor while humid or too wet outside so it has a sticky grip on shoes. The room still smelled strong of new paint & window was dirty. BUT glad to get last room available on holiday weekend. The bathroom was clean but very dated. The motel takes pets but was quiet. We were able to walk to the tourist strip of gatlinburg. Price of $132 (should be less then $50 for this quality) (that was w discounts) was way too high but again demand was high & other similar was over $150!. But again bed was clean & comfortable no bugs of any kind & staff so nice & informative.also parking is tight. We cleaned off one last lot available trash from tearing apart rooms. They really need to clean this up for appearances.

The location was nice, staff was very courteous. When we first opened the door there was a very strong Smoky smell almost took your breath away assume it was from the wild fire and we had a non smoking room. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was quite and convenient to restaurants and attractions.
The shower would not adjust to right temperature did not work and not enough pressure to put out water properly.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have been using this pet friendly hotel off and on for 10 years. It backs up to the National Park with a stream running along the back of the hotel. It is located at a trolley stop and is walking distance to "The Strip". The area does look a little run down because it is older and some buildings up the street are vacant, but my wife, my two kids and I have always felt safe and never had any issues with anyone. No one goes to the Smoky Mountains to stay in their hotel! The price is always great, especially if you book ahead. Inexpensive, safe place to sleep.
