folks, this isn't the Hilton ok? for 34 bucks a night it was exactly what I would expect things were clean, the motel had security and the front desk (peggy) was super nice and a dog lover for sure. for people reading reviews (I did) don't go by the folks that didn't have a fluffy towel or outside noise (hardly any) or shady characters roaming around (again, security on grounds). again, you want to the Hilton? go to a Hilton. was very happy with a dog friendly stay.
There were little hairs covering the flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow cases, and all the towels. It was pretty gross. My wife and I used our own shirts to cover the pillows and slept on top of the comforter. I was very upset but needed the hours to sleep and couldn’t spend the time waiting for someone to come and change the liens. Also no one asked how my stay was so I was unable to explain my dissatisfaction with the stay.
Every one was very nice. And the hotel was extremely I say extremely clean. that's the first thing I do is look at I've never been in a hotel that was as clean as that one. Most of them don't think anybody ever looks at the dust on the baseboards this one had none of stains on the wall splatters nothing and as I left I got out late the girl changing the bed I heard her spring in it the sanitizer or whatever it was she used but I've never seen anybody else to it that's clean stunt clean look clean fill clean I slept like a baby. This is obviously a well-kept secret that needs to come out
The room had just soap as toiletries, offer in the room it did not have and iron and iron board available in the room, no microwave in the room, I had a smoking room without an ashtray, the electric sockets were few --- it was hard to charge our electronics as we charge ourselves. Also the sheets in one bed had stains on themand the thermostat did not allow us to adjust the temperature in the room. But the price was the best appeal to this room!
Only positive? The young lady at the night window is a total sweetheart. The hotel itself is a total craphole. My door does not shut. Deadbolt does not work. Even if the slam or put weight behind closing it, it can be pushed right open. Advertised as 38.00 for a double room, billed around 55.00. The rooms beside me are falling in. Not happy. At all.
Please demand foreigners especially from INDIA that when they buy into an AMERICAN franchise that they not distort the AMERICAN standard in their pursuit of the AMERICAN dream. It speaks volumes if you as corporate officers take time to decipher what I just commented on, if you do not stand for something you will fall for anything. Careful allowing a group of foreign investors to tarnish your branded franchise, highly recommend " mystery shopping " these facilities periodically!!!!!!
Just definitely a cheap cheap motel. Old school motel. With a lot of age showing. Service wasn't so well at night either. You get what you pay for though. Cheap room for cheap price
Very small, dirty, and old shower. Everything is old except the TV. Linens do not fully cover the bed. There is visible filth on the walls. All websites indicate that prices start at $31, however they actually start at $39. The pool is closed before 9pm. There is a lot of dust accumulated on the baseboards. The tiny beds are extremely hard and old with broken springs. The outside looks much better than the inside.
Initial problem with the cooling system. they gave us a replacement room. Staff extremely friendly and co-operative. Clean rooms.
My second visit - the motel had issues with cleanliness. Cockroaches showed up after the lights were turned off.
Front desk made a mistake. Provided us with a single bedroom although I had requested a bedroom for two persons. Corrected upon request.
Had a pleasant stay, the lady at the front desk, her name is Holly, she was very friendly and helpful. Great rates, very affordable. The room was nice and clean. Shower was nice, water heated up fast. The bed was very comfortable, I had a great nights sleep. I will be staying again next time I go through Valdosta.
We arrived an hour early.. Our room was not ready so were placed in a handicapped room. That room had someone luggage in it, including purse. One set of towels, one pillow had no case, both were very small. They stated the sheet were changed but the condition of the bed made it doubtful. They did offer to put us in another room but since our firsts one wasn't ready we did not want wait any longer for another. The guests above us pounded the floor until 1:00 AM. Not a good night or stay. Never again Motel 6.
It's not a bad room for the money. Water pressure is great for a nice hot shower! The room was very clean. Easy check in . The people there are really nice.
The check in was very easy and the ladies were very friendly. However, I was placed in the back of the hotel. The room was okay other than half of the electrical outlets did not work. Price continues to rise each time I stay there. I do not think I will be returning, since the price has went from $46.00 to $69.00 in less than 6 months.
A very convenient location, several places to eat within walking distance. The service was top notch. My original room was on the second floor but the stairs would have been a bit challenging for my husband so the front desk clerk changed my room with no questions asked and she did so with a smile. We spent most of our time visiting with the grand children and only returned to the room to rest a bit and to nap. No real amenities available such as in room coffee maker, iron, clock, microwave or mini fridge but it served the purpose well for us.
