I am a pescaterian, and they have a WONDERFUL flounder sandwich, pair that with fried pickle spears, and wow, that's a fine, fast lunch! My family loves the bbqfriendly staff, free drink refills, and a drive thru add up to make this an excellent choice!

My sandwich was cold. I ordered onions rings and got fries instead. The kid working the register was more interested in his friends hanging in the lobby than he was the customers. While I was still in the store another customer complained of her sandwich being cold that should have been a clue for me. I didn't take my food back because I already wasn't satisfied with the service to start with. I will never go back to this place to get food again. Which is sad because I like supporting local business.

I work near the restaurant and stop in frequently. The food is great and the people that work there are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone that is around or driving through Baldwin City. Everything I have ordered here has been exceptional.

Really fast. Delicious. Amazing french fries. Tenderloin was so huge, I had to take over half home with me. Pulled pork was so tender. My 2 year old daughter approved and she is not a fan of anything. I recommend this place.

The burnt ends sandwich was delicious. Just the right amount of spicy sauce. And the seasoned fries were perfect. My spouse got nachos that came with shredded meat, beans, nacho cheese and BBQ sauce. Not a good combo, but my kids liked it.

My only complaint is that they sell pieces of bones wrapped in plastic for dogs in a large metal bowl by the register. The complaint is that they were covered in mold! When I picked one up to look at it it was covered in green. The kid behind the register immediately told me they were no good. So then why have them right next to the cookie display. Gross.

HORRIBLE customer service!! After my husband and I placed our order and paid for us and our children , we find that half of our order is out of stock. So we re ordered and asked for a refund of the remainder since our new order was cheaper than the previous. The cashier had no clue what he was doing and had to keep going to the back for help. This rude girl/cook comes to the front and refunds us the remaining balance. Then we had to give the order *again* because it was "lost" and the cashier tried charging us all over againwe explained we have already paid, that we only got refund of $17 because our new order was cheaper. He didnotgetit . He then had to go back and get the cook again, who wanted us to repeat the order AGAIN! We then said nevermind, cancel the entire order. We never got an apology and this took 30 minutes of our time. What a waste.

I have eaten at Moose' s twice. Both occasions were combo meat sandwiches and fries for lunch. The food was all hot and fresh and my order was ready quickly. I will be driving from Lawrence to Baldwin from now on for bbq day. If you are passing through Baldwin I highly recommend you get yourself some Moose' s.

Ordered the pulled pork and cheese potatoes. Was good and would eat it again! Husband had burnt ends sandwich, said that they were burnt alright and didn't end up eating the bun.

Overall - meh. I got the two meat (beef and burnt ends) sandwich with beans and a side of smoked sausage. The burnt ends had great smoke flavor, but were super tough and dry, I had to chew my way through them. The beef was alright, but nothing special and not overly smokey. They also sauce the sandwich automatically (a bad sign). The 'sausage' could have been mistaken for a pork hot dog, grilled, didn't seemed smoked. The beans appeared to be pork and beans that were spruced up. There was just nothing special about the dinner. I hate harsh reviews, but it's not worth driving any distance for unfortunately (I drove 40 minutes to try it based upon online reviews). It only gets 3 stars because I've had much worse.
