  September 2014. We visited this facility, expecting all the items in the other reviews. The receptionist looked at us though we had two heads and had no idea what we were looking for. She graciously had her supervisor come out to talk with us, and she had no idea where "this place" was, but it wasn't here at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute 7700 Sandholdt Road Moss Landing, CA 95039. We left feeling like total fools. We looked all around for some secrete other building, that they may not know of, but didn't find any.So what is the deal? Are these reviews written by kids on school trips, tour groups, or who? I don't know. So I have to give it zero because as far as I could tell the Institute had no general public access in 2014.

  Lots of nice exhibits, especially the jellyfish, sea horses, sting rays, and the octopus. Lots of places to sit down, so you can go with people who can't walk much, and they'll have lots of opportunities to rest. Also, Turtle Talk with Crush is really good, I highly recommend it!
