The place to be on Friday's and Saturday's for great live music. Awesome servers and bartenders. Good food and portions at good prices. Great happy hour Monday-Friday 5-7. Definitely somewhere to check out if you're in downtown Phoenixville!!!
Great pub food and atmosphere. Lots of events and promotions. Servers are very friendly and helpful. A lot of outside seating and Sunday brunch is pretty good.
My recent visit was on the evening of October 14, 2017. I have been to this pub before, and while I have never been impressed with the service staff, it was adequate for its pub charm and drink offerings. This last visit, however, was horrific. I shared a table with a friend and we ordered a meal and drinks. The service was terrible with our waiter not even bothering to set up some napkins and utensils, not to mention not bothering to see if we wanted to refresh our beverages. The latter is especially not a smart move for a place that makes its bread and butter on alcoholic drinks. And to finish the evening both I and my friend had wicked cases of rapid onset food poisoning, which tells me that their food handling practices are horrendous. I heard rumors about this place having issues with the health department, but foolishly didn't think much of it, when I decided to eat there. If you like a pub where you pay good money to be ignored, treated like a second class citizen and end the evening with profuse vomiting and explosive diarrhea, then this place is for you. I'll never grace its bar stools or tables again!
Good Irish pub in the heart of Phoenixville. The Guinness is excellent (not all bars pour a good pint) and the food is solid. Traditional Irish music on Sunday's is great and kids eat for $1
Stopped in as my friend was craving fish and chips. Walking in there was no host/hostess to greet us so we stood confused waiting for help. Bartender didn't even say hello. After finally being seated outside on the upper patio which was relatively empty (but we were sat directly next to another table so close I had to move our table to get into my chair) we received prompt service. Food was fast, mediocre, and nothing special. Would have been nice if the music inside also played on patio. Near bed of meal we did feel as if our server rather be somewhere else
A super relaxed atmosphere with merry music and friendly service. Most of the food is your usual pub fair and the quality will match. If you need a place to grab some beer with buddies and have some comfort food, this is a good place to do it.
Last minute decision that turned out to be pretty amazing. We tried the Scottish eggs as our starter and loved it. Our entrees were even better. Best of all-they are dog and kid friendly.
Took mom there for lunch, a little disappointed there is no difference in lunch and dinner menu. The Reuben roll app was quite good and a decent portion for an app. I went traditional with the corned beef and cabbage. Corned beef was good but the vegetable side was cold. Mom got the Shepard's Pie and it was really good. Bartender Jessica was fantastic, very personable, attentive and just all around great service! Menu NEEDS more variety, I realize it's a traditional Irish theme, but I'm Irish and I think they need more choices especially for lunchtime.
Awesome food, friendly staff and excellent use of the old drug store.
Tasty Sheppard's pie. Service is a little slow, but it's a nice place to hang out.
This place is always great. Classic Irish food with great beer. What more could you want?
Solid Irish bar in the heart of Phoenixville providing live bands, standard beer options, and base level drinks. Pricing was solid and service was quick even with a packed house. This pub can definitely get loud but it's large enough to handle the crowds and has indoor and outdoor options to keep the scene fresh.
Excellent beer selection. Delicious, traditional Irish fare. Impressively decorated. Lovely staff. Respectful patrons. Molly's is my go-to establishment whilst in Phoenixville.
