This place is a one - off. Frankly, the chef is a pig. He ruined each dish i tried with his cheapness. The calimari itself is the most tender I've had, but then he fried it in old, greasy oil, so the beading wad chewy with oil.

The arugula salad was simple, but creative. Get this, though: the jerk took the trouble to de- seed gape tomatoes and quarter them, there's six quarters on my half - salad. and to save money this guy is using day old and two day old tomatoes that have been sitting out! They were shriveled and rolled at the edges from age. NINE CENTS worth of tomatoes, and this guy can't use fresh, on a NINE DOLLAR SALAD! Totally outrageous.

The pizza wad totally unimaginative and too salty, on a crust that wad so flat and lifeless, i ate only one peice from a whole pie and left the rest for the staff too eat. By the time my server offered me dessert all i wanted wad to get out of that hell - hole.

I EVEN returned the salad, and it wasn't adjusted off my bill. What a dump.

We have been coming here for two years nowhope to come back again every July. Great cocktails and extensive wine selection. Food and the desserts have been wonderful. Favorite things are the escargot appetizer and the creme brulee.

I have been dining at Molinari's for years. They are by far one of the best restaurants in Lake County and consistently my top choice when I want to stay local but have an exceptional meal. I usually go for the specials because they tend to be the more adventurous items offered and they never disappoint; creative and delicious! They also get kudos for having one of the best wine lists around at exceptional pricing for a restaurant. The servers and bartenders always round out a great evening there with friendly and attentive service. There's a good reason this place has been around for so many years!

I have been dining at Molinari's for years. The creativeness of Chef Randal's specials compliment his consistent staples like veal four seasons or Kobe carpaccio. We are lucky to live so close!
