Stopped here to see the winter solstice and learned a lot about the Indian Nation and very nice place to take a family trip. We we're traveling to see our son and his family.

Thoroughly enjoyed their solstice festival. Parking was a little slow but learned quite a bit. Had fun throwing the atlatl, seeing demonstrations of dance and stick ballcouncil house is a site not to miss.

This place is great for catered events and other large gatherings. The atmosphere is authentic and historical, service is excellent.

A little treasure right in the midst of town. A great display of area history. The Winter Solstice Day was very nice. If there had been folks in the council house to talk about the exhibit (s), I'd rated a 5.

My sister had her wedding at this location. The grounds are nice. The staff is great. And the museum section is nice for those waiting for an event or killing time.

Worth the visit! Pros: meticulously cared for artifacts and re-creations, staff are well-educated, friendly and passionate about this time period. Cons: the historical narrative throughout is arguably a bit whitewashed.

What an amazing historical gem right in the City of Tallahassee! It dates back to the 1600s, long before this was the State of Florida. It’s very well cared for and very interesting for adults and children.

Really cool experience for the kids. The guy at the church and the blacksmith were really cool and my kids barraged then with questions. Definitely a must see if you're in Tallahassee.

Great historical place! Live interpretation from living history interpreters! Learned so much - and it was fun! Always bring family and out of town guests. Only $5 for adults. Senior and children discounts available. Can spend a hours or just a half hour.

The staff enjoys what they do. Very informative. Don't hesitate to ask questions! The year-long membership for 15 dollars is definitely worth it for students. I took advantage of it and have been here at least 7 or 8 times.
