Did not have a good experience with this firm after our prior CPA sold her practice to her. Charges top dollar for services, paid for a mock return that we used to base dividend income on and it was completely wrong. Had to hire another CPA to correct all the mistakes. Office staff was as helpful as could be, but the professional advice I paid for was completely wrong.
I stand by my review, yes, you did charge the same fee for corporate tax preparation as my previous CPA, my issue was the exorbitant fee you charged to manage dividend payments, which were totally inaccurate. I had to ask several times to get the mock tax return in writing. When my son in law, who is a CPA, MBA prepared my tax return using your mock return, I OWED the govenment a lot of money. Your mock return that I paid substantially for was useless. And no, I did not want to engage with you any further and spend even more money for services that do not help with my situation.

Mrs Minton and her marvelous team are the hardest working and most knowledgeable professionals I have have had the pleasure of work with on my personal and business dealings. I wish I cloud place a Permanent Billboard on the side of 264 that the ONLY CPA firm that you should be working with in Virginia is Minton CPA & Associates, PLLC I wouldn’t recommend any Other Firm! She is so courteous, personable and patient and hands down the smartest woman in the industry!

I don't trust anyone else but Tina, Alex and their team to prepare my taxes. They are so helpful in breaking things down to me when I have questions regarding my taxes. Let's be real, I am not a tax expert, I am a 1099 with an LLC (which they taught me about). I don't understand tax code, but they do, and they have no issue explaining processes and helping you along the way. They will guide you on what is best for you and explain why. Minton CPA & Associates, PLLC is my go to, and always highly recommended!
