All I want to say is WOW, but I must tell you that if you decide to do a tour request CHUCK and HOLLY what a team to have.they are amazing and was full of knowlege and We all had so much fun. The story we heard we loved everyone one of them. We are already planning our next trip to the farms and horse track. I can't wait to see them again. Thank so much for a safe and wonderful weekend.

Our tour guide Mark was knowledgable, humerous, prompt, and professional.Great trip made even better by Mint Julep Tours. Highly recommend this expereince. They know their stuff!

Spent a weekend in Louisville with Mint Julep Tours. Absolutely fantastic time. Our host Ron was outstanding. He's friendly and knowledgeable, he really added to our whole Kentucky experience. Looking forward to another Mint Julep tour in the future. Thanks for a great time!

Jeanie did a great job setting up our private tour. We had 6 couples so we went to 3 Distileries and lunch. I would highly recommend the exclusive private tour at Bulliet distillery. It was well worth the extra money. Our driver was nice but had little interaction with us. We expected a knowledgeable person that knew about the history of the surrounding area and Bourbon. It was a long quiet ride between distilleries. I guess I expected more than just driving us place to place. It was expensive day for what we got. The lunch place we picked Ricardo's was very good. I'd recommend it.

Our trip was AWESOME!! I worked with Chasta who helped me customize a private tour bus for a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday!! We had a great time! We will definitely be back to tour more of the trail! Our driver Parker was great too! Thank you!!

I booked a custom tour through Mint Julep with a focus on more behind-the-scenes experiences when visiting the bourbon trail. Working in the industry, I was more focused on the business side though wanted a good balance of tastings as well. The tour Shannon built for me included a visit to a cooperage, a still manufacturer, as well as three distilleries and a paired bourbon dinner. Shannon worked with me to select the right distilleries for my preferences (a large number of choices to be sure), and when the day came our driver/host Gary was an exceptional part of the package I'd not counted on. Because we were running a bit early to a few places, Gary was able to adjust and give us small tours of other local landmarks that were interesting but not specifically connected to the bourbon trail tours. Because of his ability to be flexible and adjust on the fly, we got a much deeper view of Louisville and the surrounding areas than if we'd tried to drive ourselves (plus we were much more relaxed at every tasting knowing we could rely on Gary to get us to our next destination safely). Gary's local knowledge covered a breadth of topics and he had recommendations for all sorts of activities and food options we listened, and he was spot on with every recommendation we followed!
Having experienced a custom tour like this, I can now give Mint Julep Tours my highest recommendation for quality of experience. Not only did Shannon build a perfect tour for my preferences and tastes (listening to my feedback and desires), but having gary as our personal tour guide and driver solidified the quality of operation they run and truly made for an exceptional experience during our stay.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We took the tour to Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and Wild Turkey. Chuck our guide was great. He was engaging and informative. There was a great atmosphere on the bus. The guide and driver were so professional. I only wish I was there an extra day so we could have done another KY Bourbon Trail tour or do one of the other tours they offer. They clearly love the state of Kentucky and it translates well to tourists

DO THE TOUR OR TOURS!! these guys are great, tour is safe, fun, entertaining, and can be intoxicating. I LOVED IT. Pick your bourbon and get the tour and taste.

Had a truly wonderful experience with Mint Julep Tours. Their team was exceptionally helpful in putting together an itinerary for the few days that we were in Louisville, connecting us with a wonderful driver, and ensuring we had a great time visiting the region. No one from our group had been to Kentucky before, so having their team facilitate the entire experience was greatly appreciated.
Moreover, we all had an absolute blast on the trip. We managed to hit six distilleries in two days and even had time to stop at the cooperage. The first time I spoke with Shannon, the Mint Julep rep, she helped pick the distilleries by explaining that each would have an exceptionally different feel/experience. I was somewhat skeptical of this claim, but she was absolutely correct. Each of the distilleries was a unique experience and has influenced my perception and taste in bourbons.
