Just wanted to share a few points about our experience. From time we were seated was 45 mins. Slow service, cold food when it came, not sure who or why this this situation was caused. When I seen other tables in the same situation as us waiting to order or wanting their bill it was disgusting to see our waiter outside puffing a cigarette, now this is totally acceptable on break but this was at 11am Sunday morn brunch. Never again will I waste my time. This is a full 100% management issue, this person would not be on my payroll!

We went in and were told a 10 minute wait. Half the restaurant was closed and they looked short staffed which I understood. But about 20 minutes into our wait a server came and chatted with the hostess. They talked for 10 minutes before we decided it was not worth the wait.

We entered thinking it was a cafe, turned out to be a much more luxurious decor than we expected. A wonderful variety in the menu. French Pot roast melted in your mouth. Decent service, food was served actually HOT, unusual for most restaurants. My only disappointment was the chicken dish I ordered was supposed to have artichokes, which I was really looking forward to, but came without them. When the server asked me how were my artichokes, I had to inform him there weren't any, which frankly, he or the cook should have noticed. No compensation was offered for the oversight, merely an apology with assurances they would get it right next time. Pumpkin latte was a fabulous seasonal decadence. Otherwise enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go again, to see if they do get it right. Wouldn't expect fancy French cuisine, but they do offer real comfort food in a wide variety.

Perfect! Is all I can say. Food was delicious! Service was great! Prices were reasonable. AND they serve alcohol for breakfast! Lol. Will definitely be returning to this place.

Well this was our first time eating at this resturant. The place was empty. We had good food. The waitress that took care of us was pleasent for a while. Then the waitress came to our table and said since we were at there restaurant she gave us two muffins. She never told us about being charged for them until we got the bill and seen we were charged $4.00 for the two muffins. Being from a different state i guess we know now always ask what the catch is.

This was our first time there and the service was excellent. We had Josh as our server and he was exceptional. The food was good and we took most of his suggestions as it was our first time. Plus we got muffins to take home for breakfast the next morning.

We were seated promptly. And that was about it. No one came to our table for over ten minutes. Considering there was only two tables of customers inside you would think someone could at least greet us.

We left and went to Peter Ds. and was met at the door with a smile.

I met a dear friend whom I haven't seen in a few months. We wanted great food at a place where we could visit and not be drowned out by loud music and loud staff. Mimi's was the perfect place for us. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The was excellent, as always. Thank you very much!

We really like this place as among other meals they serve BRUNCH - and for people like us who love a late breakfast on the weekend, this is one to add to your list! In fact, we have only ever been here at the 'brunch' hours - Breakfast is served until 11 A.M. on weekdays and until 3 P.M. on weekends..
They do offer some gluten free options.
It is a bit on the pricey side - plan for about 10-14$ per person per entree then add a few more dollars for drinks other than water but they have sent out coupons in the mail in the past that were BOGO or 20% off your whole ticket and they have a club you can join for free online to get some more coupons too. I keep coming back for the egg white veggie omelet which has spinach, tomato, caramelized onions and goat cheese in it. According to the website menu it is supposed to come with mushrooms but my order has never reflected that ingredient and I wish it had! I have always thought the omelet could use some mushrooms.
They have delicious large muffins that come with some of the brunch meals or you could order to take home with you.
Their coffee is hot, dark and STRONG. So if you don't like that you might be sure to get a glass of water and a second empty cup to make one cupful of reg strong into 2 cup-fulls of something a bit weaker.
All in all it is a good option for breakfast/brunch and on busy holidays like Mother's Day or Easter you can make orders/reservations in advance. Not sure how that works but I saw their in restaurant advertisements on it several times.

Awesome food and service. What more can you ask for? The buttermilk spice muffins are a staple. For breakfast I love the salmon eggs benedict, but they have all kinds of omlets, crepes, waffles etc. Even the oatmeal is really good. For lunch/dinner, any of the burgers are good, fries are awesome, and they have a roasted chicken that's amazing. Prices are definitely reasonable. About $10-15 a person including your coffee or tea or whatever, and coupons are easy to find too.

Great french/creol cusine with a New Orleans feel. Great wines at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant was not crowded but service was like they were. Wonder if short staffed? I ordered Turkey Sausage&Eggs, a normal for me so there was an expectation. Quality of sausage was bad. Roasted potatoes normally quartered was uneven resulting in varying degrees of doneness. Well used jelly basket had sugarless jelly and little else.

    Overall a disappointing experience.

This is my favorite place for lunch. I'm not a big fan of burgers and fries, but Mimi's are delicious. My favorite is chicken salad sandwich on toasted sour dough bread. This is not fast food, this is good food. Casual restaurant, great place to meet friend for lunch.

We decided to go to Mimi's for my mom's birthday. We had a party of 7. The wait was supposed to be 20 minutes. After 45 minutes, we still had not been seated. After speaking to the manager, miraculously, she was able to seat us right then. We left anyway. We will never go back. It's too overpriced for the quantity and quality of food you receive.
