I originally booked this hotel based off the reviews that people were saying the place was clean and cheap. The place was definitely cheap but it was not clean (I guess you get what you paid for). The hotel looked really run down, random people were just hanging out in the parking lot, and the hallways smelled. I was able to get an upgrade to my room due to the original reservation being wrong so I was happy about that. The room was spacious but needed some repairs on the walls, curtains, and the fire detector was not working. The room had two sofas, both of which were very dirty so I did not sit on them. The chair for the desk was also dirty and had all these stains. The bed was comfortable and it looked clean but when I woke up in the morning I had what looked like bed bug bites, on one side of my leg. I made sure to wash everything I took with me and my car to make sure I didn't take any bed bugs with me when I got home. I definitely will not be staying at this place again! I noticed some other reviews about the bed bug issue so proceed with caution!
Ahhh I really didn't appreciate my last visit to this place, compared with my visit before this was the worst one, the people are very nice but the hotel needs more, I booked a room with this hotel two weeks ago and when arrive we checked end and I always check my room first we I get there
First I checked the lights and have didn't work I said that I will tell him tomorrow about it then I checked patios doors was not locked and didn't have a locks all torn off while I was looking at the patios door for locks I notice a lot guys just hanging out around the front where I parked my car right in of the room where I thought that we were going to stay, but after checking the locks and the room I just couldn't believe how this place have gone down, so call the manager and asked to come up to my room and I began to show him what I seen here and didn't want to stay in this room so he looks and he offered me several other rooms but where all the same , so then he tells me that this place is under construction so then I asked him for a refund right away and the manager did as I requested and went to find another hotel ..

After reading many of the reviews I would have to say most are pretty accurate. Except for the one guy raving about how great it is. I imagine if you book here during some type of event (summerfest) etc. You may get stuck in one of the rooms that are pretty bad. Or you may luck out and get a decent one like I just did. The restaurant next door is good, used to eat there once in awhile when I still lived in Milwaukee.
This has been one of the best motel/hotel stays I have had in a long time. There is an excellent restaurant attached. The chef is a young man from Mexico, who made the BEST split pea soup I have EVER tasted in a commercial restaurant. The rest of my husband's dinner & mine was top drawer. The servings were large i made sure to bring the other half to my room for brunch today. I recommend trying the restaurant even if you are not staying at the hotel. Our waitress, Liz Maria, is a young girl, with quick, friendly, smile, and we definitely had excellent service with a smile. I have only a few things to say about this hotel, one, the young man working the front desk in the evening, is a very good looking, happily married young man, that is energetic, friendly and helpful and very outgoing. An intelligent conversationalist. His personality was exuberant and pleasant. If I were a hotel/ motel critic, I would highly recommend staying here, over the Quality Inn and Rodeway, or Super 8. We were treated with respect, kindness, and honesty, which is something that DID NOT happen at the hotels mentioned above. I give 5 stars, 6 thumbs up, for the Airport Inn including the reasonable room rates.
Great space and awesome price in comparison to size of rooms in more expensive hotels. Right by the freeway to be able to quickly get to your intended destination and, above all else, very friendly and understanding staff. This hotel may be economic in price but, by no means, does that take away from such a wonderful experience and stay. I recommend ANYBODY to give this place a shot. 5 out of 5 for me.
Place was decent for the price until i was woken up in the middle of the night to discover i was being bitten up by a bed bug. Went to complain and. Even had the physical proof. But they couldn't give us a new room thinking it would spread. With no other place to go my bf and i were forced to sleep in the infested room for another night . They said they'd refund us for a full night but only gave us half ( and the woman who took a pic claims otherwise) it was so early (4-5am i think when it happened i regret not taking my own pics to secure the proof :(
The front desk and security are rude but surprisingly the housekeeping is nice
If you want cheap go here but be cautious
2 star hotel? Barely
Rooms look nothing like the pictures online. If it's being renovated, we are in the old part. Lamps don't work, room is humid despite the ac running, broken fixtures all down the halls, cheap broken furniture. Sketchy visitors coming in staying only a min or two, then leaving. This happened all night, every night. Floors were never vaccuumed during our 3 night stay. The handy man let himself into our room twice without permission. Once we were in the room and I was using the bathroom, thank goodness I had closed the door. He barged in without knocking. The second time we were gone, and he did something with the TV, which we weren't using and hadn't asked to be repaired. We wouldn't have known except he left the small refrigerator pulled out and turned sideways. We felt violated. The pool was closed (no water in it), which was not mentioned on the site. The only positive thing was the guy at the front desk was friendly and suggested some special events happening while we are here.
Price is good, but you definitely get what you pay for. No outlets to charge your phone, TV didn't work until I called the desk, water just dribbled out of the shower, and lights didn't work until I fixed them. Also no water in the pool. Was clean and comfortable bed though.
Hotel needs work, I see why they can't charge much. If I did that poor of quality of remodel work, I'd be out of a job! At least the bed was comfortable and I slept well after local drug dealers were done for the night. The alarm also worked via local men in blue settling a dispute promptly at 6 am. If you need to get up early or are a light sleeper this is the hotel for you!
If you want the four star hotel experience at a two star hotel price this is the place, I've stayed at five different hotels in Milwaukee, I booked here when my usual pick was unavailable for me needs. I'm never looking back.not much to look at from the outside but inside 😁WOW! Beautiful spacious rooms, extremely comfortable beds, all the amenities and a pool and exercise area. Extremely friendly, considerate and competent staff. I'm on business here today but this would be a perfect choice for a vacation or getaway to check out Milwaukee. I'm a born complainer but I hated checking out after only one night. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Forget the rest, this place gives you the most bang for your buck! I'll be back.As for some of these other reviews, they must have had some type of personal problem here or caused a problem resulting in sour grapes. Nothing could be farther from the truth, I'm dumbfounded by the recent bad reviews. They must have this place mixed up with somewhere else or have some sort of stake or work at a competing chain in the area. It's the only way I can figure it.i read the other reviews after posting my own and had to come back to address those concerns. They are completely unfounded and untrue in my experience.
Clean quite staff somewhat helpful nice big cozy bed.
Great place to stay and live has a great price. Its right off the freeway on Layton with stores down the street. The airport in is not that far from the airport and it also has a restaurant and bar for those long flights and you just need a place to eat and relax without ever leaving the hotel.
I love the price and hotel. Helpful staff and nice room .When you go to the hotel all you need is good customer service and nice room.

If I could give 0 stars, I would, took four phone calls, 10-20 rings, no answer?
5th time, asked if I could check in early, had reservation, no, rooms aren't clean, alright, will call back at one, called back, no answer, three different times, drove over. I was informed and this is not on their website or on any booking/reservations sites that i must pay a $50 dollar deposit along with my room rate, if I known ahead of time, I would not have minded. If you pay in cash, 50 is refunded on check out, credit card takes at least two days to get monies back. My room rate just went up to over 100 dollars even though stated I would have received my monies back. As they cannot answer their phone and they have no idea if they have clean rooms after three phone calls, i sure as hell did not trust them to get my money back to me. Outside of lobby is run down and definitely NOT the safest or nicest neighborhood but the lobby was clean and nice, desk staff also pleasant. I suspect that they do not have the nicest or cleanest clientele at times thus the need for a deposit, understandable BUT let people know on your website and the online booking companies know. Plain and simple, you get what you pay for, I stated too expensive to nice desk clerk and left disgusted.
I can not believe the recent post about this place. We stayed there this weekend an although it could use new paint it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, spacious, huge really with vaulted ceilings, had a mini fridge and microwave and private balcony and on site dining in a very pretty and clean family restaurant. Will be going back there in about a month and look forward to doing so.
