I can't say enough about AmericInn in West Bend the place is always clean, they're always wanting to help you. Infact they'll go out of their way to help you. They should technically be at five star cuz they are so helpful. The staff always makes our weekend the best weekend of the year plus they always remember who we are. I love this AmericInn.

We didnt stay overnight, we were hiking through the town and waiting for a ride to pick us up. They were kind enough to let us come in from the windy and chilly weather and sit in the lobby. The design of the lobby area is really interesting and the staff was all friendly.

The people here were polite and helpfull. The rooms were clean and quiet (not many people there when we were there). The breakfast was fine. Typical options to eat.

It's my first night working here and everything seems quite easy my first night training with barb made it very easy and learnable. I'm glad i have the opportunity to have this job and learn a new trade skill.

Ok first of all this place is so not worth the $79.99
My first room? The entire bed was covered in animal hair. Not just the top sheet but all of it! I don't know who their cleaning people are but they clearly don't care about doing their jobs properly. So I went and told the girl at the front desk and she didn't seem even a little surprised. She did offer me another room but I made her walk with me to check out the room I was just in.
The second room I got s ended up smelling like feet. Seriously how can you charge $80! She didn't even offer a discount or a refund or anything. This place is crap.response / report this review -

The hotel is conveniently located right off of the main road in downtown West Bend. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning includes a good number of tasty options to start the day off right. I stay at this hotel every Christmas when visiting family.

Ok , hotel in need of updating - my room reeked of cat urine even though it said it states no pets allowed. (Somebody smuggled in a kitty and didn't smuggle in a litter box) I had to go get Lysol spray to tolerate the stench.
There was a switch in the bathroom that had a sicker that said " silent fan" it was so silent not a peep and actually no fan at all just a clever cover up for a nonexistent thing. Not impressive.
Bed and pillows were comfy and while I did not eat the free breakfast it smelled good.
Would I stay here again? Preferably not. It's tolerable and I would have asked for another room, I was happy with room location.response / report this review -

Front desk staff was wonderful and accommodating. Had an issue with a shuttle we thought we booked for our wedding block; simple miscommunication. However, the hotel manager I spoke to about it was not kind and did nothing but blame me for the mix up. It ended up not being a big deal, the hotel served it's purpose for us, I just thought the manager needed better customer service skills.
