Beautiful bed and breakfast near the heart of Atlanta. Lovely rooms with old fashioned service. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing. Joe and Diane are the best-we were in town to look at houses and picked Mileybright just because we were trying something new, a bit tired of hotels. We are from Savannah and there are probably hundreds of B&B's here, but we live here so never had tried one!. Our experience at Mileybright was short but very sweet. Our host met us at the door for a late arrival. Joe showed us to our room and explained the wonderful fireplace insert that had been added due to very cold weather. We settled in. Slept great with our fireplace glowing and heating us up. In the am we could smell the coffee calling us. We got down to the kitchen and had fabulous conversation and incredible food. The quiche was a very pleasant surprise, strong coffee-just the way we like it, and toast, homemade jamsneed I say more. We ran ourselves ragged in town all day, came back to Mileybright for the night, and once again had a perfect nights sleep. Our next trip will have to include time to sit on the fabulous porch and enjoy the property.
In January 2014 an epic snow/ice event hit Atlanta that closed most of the roads for 2+ days and paralyzed the city. I stumbled across this B&B by accident, but I'm thrilled that I ended up there. I had just been released from the hospital but had no way to get home so I ended up recovering at this B&B. Joe and Diane were exceedingly nice and helpful (even driving me to the pharmacy and waiting with me for my antibiotics Rx). The room was very comfy with it's own heater with remote control. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends who come to Atlanta.
Joe and Diana are wonderful hosts and treat you like family. Would highly recommend staying at this bed and breakfast near Decatur outside of Atlanta. Only 15 mins from Stone Mountain as well.
We had our wedding on the large front lawn and we couldn't have had picked a better location. Joe and Diana were wonderful hosts. The restoration of the house is nothing short of amazing. It is a hidden gem tucked into the edge of Avondale Estates!
