  I purchased insurance here when I moved from Canada to the US. I took in my Canadian policy and said I wanted the same coverage. I trusted they would look after me. I was young and had no experience with insurance turns out I went from having 2 million in coverage to $100,000 and only $50,000 no fault. Less than a year later I was involved in a major car accident that nearly killed me and left me completely debilitated. The other driver who was at fault was also insured by State Farm. From day 1 it was like I had no coverage, I had to fight to get basic coverage of any kind. State Farm screwed me over at every turn and forced me to get a lawyer. I ended up losing everything and couldn't even pay my bills or medical expenses. They drug it out for over 8 years to a full jury trial. They tried to sabotage my personal life, lied about me to my employer and in court, and claimed I was driving an uninsured vehicle when they in fact had made me sign over the title to my totaled car to them, then tried to get my license suspended for it. I could go on..The worst decision of my life was to trust my insurance needs to Mike Conroy's State Farm office, after he sells you the policy he will have nothing to do with your problems with State Farm, you are on your own.
