If you’ve been looking for a class that will help grow your photography skills, then I highly recommend Mike Busby’s On-Line Image Feedback and Composition Class. It’s hands down the BEST class I’ve taken in a long time.

Mike approaches the topic of composition in a way that will strengthen your knowledge of how to use a variety of design elements to create images that are impactful and build interest for the viewer. If you’ve ever looked at an image you’ve created and wondered if it was good – then you NEED to take this class. Mike has given me the tools to be confident in evaluating my own photography and identify the elements that make it strong. Now that I have these tools, I can incorporate them into the capture process and shoot with more intent.

In the Facebook group, we learn to give input into other people’s work in a positive way by identifying those design elements that speak to the strength of the image. Suggestions for areas of improvement are given in a way that allows you to incorporate new ideas from that week’s lesson. I am now looking at my photography in a whole new way!

Great experience. Mike built on the skills I already had working with my camera. We went out and took pictures and I learned more about processing in his studio. I could tell he loved teaching others. I highly recommend taking lessons from Mike.

I thoroughly enjoyed the photography classes I took with Mike. He is very hands on with his lessons and was genuinely invested in my interests within the photography world and how he could revolve the lessons around those particular interests. I’m so happy to have been able to learn from someone who is so experienced and who creates some of the most top notch photos I’ve seen. What I learned from him was worth so much more than anything I’ve learned from web articles. I’ve seen so much improvement in my own photos since taking his classes and would 100% recommend!

Mike has been instrumental in my growth as a photographer for a long time, before he even started the school. Excellent teacher with a ton of patience. His delivery of the material is smooth and he'll challenge you to think about your shot in different ways. You won't be sorry you invested in your photographic education with him, I can assure you.

I recently attended Mike's Intermediate photo class and it was amazing. I have been shooting photos as an amateur for nearly 13 years, but never felt like I had a full understanding of my camera settings, what made a good photo, or how to properly post process. After taking mikes class I finally feel like I can take my camera out, take ONE photo, and know that its properly exposed and ready for post. Mike does an excellent job of breaking down advanced camera techniques into simple to digest bites of information. My photos have come leaps and bounds in a very short period of time and I have Mike to thank for these improvements. I highly recommend anyone to attend one of Mike's classes.
