Our 15 year old daughter had a Supraorbital Bilateral Nerve Decompression Surgery with Dr. Lowenstein. After suffering daily with debilitating headaches, and feeling like we had exhausted all other options during a four year pain struggle, we decided to go ahead with the surgery as a last ditch effort to give our girl some quality of life. Dr. Lowenstein took the time to assess our daughter's condition, determine that she was a good candidate for surgery, answer questions about the surgery, give us confidence in our decision to put our daughter through the surgery and post-operatively followed up several times. He met with us virtually, in Denver (our home base) and in Santa Barbara. He was kind, reassuring, confident, and very capable. His staff was equally as amazing. If you are struggling with chronic migraine and have tried all other treatment options, I encourage you to reach out to Dr. Lowenstein. He gave us back our daughter and we will be forever grateful!!

Dr. Lowenstein and his staff especially Ruthie and Cynthia are amazing! They worked with me and my family through every step of 2 surgeries traveling from Colorado to the surgery center in California. They gave me everything I needed to know and answered every question we had. The surgeries were efficient and recovery hasn’t been as bad as I thought they might have been. I would and will recommend Dr. Lowenstein to anyone I can that hasn’t been able to find relief for their migraines!

Dr. Lowenstein is fabulous! I saw over 30 medical professionals in 3 1/2 years, so when I saw Dr. Lowenstein and he said he could help me I almost didn’t believe it. He is kind, honest, compassionate and understands the pain I had.
His facilities are state of the art and easily accessible.
He has performed two surgeries on me and I can say I am pain free. I am able to be a wife, mom, and active person again.
Dr. Lowenstein is meticulous. I highly recommend him!
