Not a good company at all . Have dealt with them before. Would not recommend. There are better companies out that finish the job they started
This company is just ridiculous. They built a crooked house that a family can't even live in. They refuse to fix things even that engineers found wrong. They are a disgrace to society. They have no morals, no integrity. Untrustworthy and just plain pieces of garbage. And gee they must be feeling the pressure. They took down all the reviews on they're Facebook page because the truth will haunt them. Plus they paid the magistrate off to reverse the verdict a jury trial favored for the family. Gee Midwest where is your little magistrate now. She cant stop the public media. You will lose all your business you couldn't do the right thing.
I honesty would not recommend this company to build a dog box. Please people watch the News 9 special on the Crooked House.yes people this is the company that does not know how to build a home. Save yourself the heart ache and thousands upon thousands of dollars and choose another builder. This company should be ashamed of themselves for what they have put these good people through. If they were a reputable company they would have made this situation right. There is no excuse for what they have put this family through. And what cowards you are Midwest Modular Homes.what are you afraid of?? Why would you remove the entire Reviews Tab from your Facebook Page?? If the comments aren't in your favor you delete the option to leave a review.
And by the way the one star I gave you was only given because I could not post this without giving you a star, so don't think I gave you that star, it was given by defaultI had no choice!!
Well Midwest Modular Homes I hope Karma comes back to bite your company!!!!
This company is very unprofessional. They built a house that is very poor quality. Cracks in walls, foundation, roof is off. The house isn't even completed but yet all of the walls are cracking already Really. The house is leaning to one side. The company will not even fix anything. They refuse to fix their own mistakes. Poor craftsmanship, poor quality, very poor customer service. They take your money and that is it. They destroy peoples dreams by taking your money and building a house of horrors. This company does not deserve your business, or any business for that matter.
Built a crooked home they would not fix. Said it was fine. Engineers found violation after violation. Company refused to fix. Legal nightmare
When my family went to Midwest to look for a home, we worked with Brad, who is very knowledgeable and great for answering any and all questions we had. The construction part of the process was a little bumpy, but I toss that to Midwest’s only crew needing to be at multiple sites all at once. The two star review stems from the Service Team Manager and her finishing crew. The finishing crew started on the inside of my home one day, left at noon and never came back. When I had called the Servoce Team Manager, Marie, she sounded as though she had no idea what was going on and had stated she would have “to call her guys and see what is going on.”
Her Finishing crew left piles of stripping, shingles, a whole box of siding, and a very large piece of drywall all in my home. When I called to ask her when they would be back to finish the work and to resolve the issues we saw during the walkthrough, she treated me with the utmost disrespect. She acted as though my phone call to her was a personal insult. We had our walk through almost a month ago, and Marie and said, “I have ordered all of the parts needed to finish your home and they should be here next week. I’ll call you to schedule then.”
If it wasn’t for me calling to follow up, I would have never heard from her.
I understand that that they are a relatively small and they are busy, but that is no reason to talk to people like Marie did. A little respect goes a long way, and so far I’ve received none from the Service Team. The rest of the Midwest Homes teams are wonderful.
I have got 6 home's from here always great time there team is the best!!!
Nothing but headaches!!! They will promise you everything and deliver on nothing. Terrible communication and customer service! Took over 8 months to get anything resolved and if I had not contacted the home manufacturer myself directly, it still wouldn't be done.
They have a very nice selection of homes at their location. We spoke with Pete after touring the homes, he is really knowledgeable about their homes and construction in general. We fell in love with one home in particular called Savannah which is a modular home, we're really looking forward to working with these guys Great experience!
Very disappointment in the craftsmanship of the finish crew and the way the office treated us with the concerns we have. We have been dealing with them getting our home fixed for almost 2months, to the standards we were promised. The lack of communication is horrible. They sent their crew out again today to finish things that was still their responsibility, but they left leaving broken trim, 10 small nailholes,in one piece of trim, did not clean up after themselves. The list could go on and on. I called right away today and sent photos and no response from Pete the Manager of Midwest Homes. If you buy from Midwest Homes don't think you house will look like a model home, as our is far from it.
We won't be using these guys, lets just say they didn't instill confidence when we visited. It was like we were bugging them just being there, weird really like the real owners died or something and these guys just kind of moved in it was a strange encounter really.
Really bad experience with Midwest Homes the house came with no thermostat in middle of cold season, after they installed the thermostat anyway didn't work ,was kipping flipping the braker, and caused extensive water demage.. Till this day the furnace doesn't work , we leave on portable heaters with an child, and nobody wants to come to fixe it. By the way we bought the house cash last september 2015.Very disappointed.
Our Company [Tri-County Electrical Systems] has been doing work for them for over 30 years. They have always treated us fairly, paid their bills on time and operated with principles of integrity. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, price and service when shopping for a new modular home.
