Do not go if it's windy, this tiny lake seems to catch the wind like a bowl, I've seen times when the ocean was calmer, now find a good day without the winds and it's great Bass fishing. Nothing huge, but plenty of 5 lb fish

This place does not deserve 1% of a star I wish there was an unrated heart to post this. Thanks to the new owners there's less campground and if the water got any higher there would be no land to camp because they cut the trees down that hid the lake fyi get a boat. They only thought for themselves to see the lake, there will be no campground left to camp as for those trees helped because they fed off the water to keep it low enough. They act like they own all of the fish in the lake themselves and don't care for the others that fish there (He asked me "why are you fishing" with an attitude, when I asked to buy bait). Learn how to talk and communicate (no communication skills at all) with the others camping there instead of making them feel like their unwelcomed too. &&&& Build a family bathroom if you have a problem with a guy and a girl bodyguarding each other while taking a shower (SEPERATLY) because they don't feel safe with the crazy people that come in and out especially everything that's been happening since BC (Plus we had to share the soap because we didn't have enough). This place is going to end up bankrupt by time they finish destroying the beautiful camp it once was.

Jeanne Middleton is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The area is beautiful. They offer several types of small fishing boats and large pontoon boats for rent with reasonable rates. They also have very reasonable rates on their rental cabins or trailers if you want to stay. There website has all the info. If you are interested in visiting Middletons you should plan ahead and make reservations early.

WONDERFUL place. Polite, accommodating, pleasant managers and beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking for boats, parking for small RVs and vans, and about 4 tents spots. Free showers and restrooms. More people should know about this place!

I love this place. Free to go and stay for 7 days with a 30 day turnaround. Run by a super friendly lady. Listen to her fishing tips. One of the only places you can stay by Blue Cypress Lake.
