Great service and pleasantly surprisingly lower price options on vinyl products. Staff working in the vinyl area are knowledgeable and more than helpful.

I called to ask if they had bobbin casings. The man on the phone kept cutting me off when I was trying to tell him what I needed telling me that "I think we have them, but I don't know." I asked would it be possible for him to look since I live in Smyrna. It takes me a minute to drive and I didn't want to waste a trip. He literally groaned at me. He put me on hold, and when he came back he said they had them. I asked for a price, and he said "I don't know". Then he hung up on me. I went up there even though he was rude, and the cheapest bobbin casing was $19.99. They went all the way up to $70.00. You can get them online for as little as $2.99 depending on the one you need. All of their stuff was way over priced, the store was full of screaming children, and when I asked where the bobbin casings were the guy actually rolled his eyes at me and pointed vaguely. I ended up finding them myself in the exact opposite direction. They will never get my business again because they obviously don't know how to treat customers. I'm not picky. I just don't want to be treated like a burden when I'm just trying to find a part for my sewing machine.

The lady I met here was super nice. I needed a repair to my machine, she told me to go back into this room. When I got inside there was a gentleman there at the computer who informed me I shouldn't be in that area. This was my first time there and I'd literally done what I was told. I apologized and walked back out but it seemed the guy was quite irritated with me, at the very least, not very friendly and totally the opposite of all the great reviews I read. He was very fast and got my machine back to me in minutes! I appreciate that ..just wish his vibe was more friendly. Who wants to take their machines to a place where they feel like they are bothering the staff? The place has an amazing selection of vinyl to buy in addition to lots of machines and fabrics. I'll be back (not for repairs though)! Hopefully EVERYONE is in a better mood.

I had done quite a bit of research on Brother Embroidery machines, and knew exactly what I wanted, but wasn't really sure how I was going to make it work financially. On a leap of faith, I drove to Murfreesboro from Nashville and met with the amazing folks at MidSouth Sewing. Not only did they welcome me to their store, they made me feel like my needs really mattered to them. There was no pressure, they provided me with all the information I needed, and they treated me with respect. They also gave me a great deal on my machine! It was such a wonderful experience for me that I hugged them when I left. Highly, highly recommend MidSouth Sewing!!!!

I have a brother embroidery machine which was giving some issues. To have it serviced under warranty I had to take it to a licensed service center. I am so thankful that this is my service center. The staff is great even with my crazy and stupid questions. They fixed my machine, told me what was wrong, and even educated me on the proper needles. Later I had another issue. I walked in aback out with much machine 30 minutes later. The tech took time to go over several issues and teach me a few very handy tricks. I will not buy my supplies and where else or have my machine looked at elsewhere. They now service my sewing machine, serger, and embroidery machine. Also a side note I have not bought a machine from them but I plan to soon.

I took my sewing machine (1987 Necchi Mechanical Machine) in for repair/service after it had experienced major tension/bobbin/needle issues for quite some time. I explained diligently the issues to the lady who took my machine, and they told me it could be about a week and they would call me if there was going to be an additional expense. To my surprise, I got an e-mail the NEXT DAY saying my machine was ready. I couldn't believe it, so I rushed down there and made sure to plug in and run the machine before loading it in my car - it ran beautifully, they had done a thorough job and only charged me for servicing it.

I have never had my machine returned to me next day, and frankly many sewing shops tend to not take me seriously due to my age, my machine's age (one and the same, actually), and the fact that I do not quilt. These folks were great and even though it is quite a drive, I will be back.
