Great taste but very poor portions. Chicken breasts are more like flat chicken nothing to them at all. Been coming here for years and you would be taking extra home when you left. Weell wont be going there again . Thanks for the rip off.

Since new ownership, the quality and quanity of the food has decreased significantly. The prices on most items has jumped significantly. My favorite $6.99 chicken breast (3 of them) basket w/fries is now a $9.99 chicken finger box w/fries - much smaller and $3 more and the 3 huge plump juicy chicken breasts have been replaced with 5 small thin chicken fingers. The big dipping sauces have been replaced w/very small Ken's (hard to open) prepacked packages. The fries in this basket were about 1/2 the normal amount. It was hard to enjoy our meal while swatting away all the flies. The bathroom was disgustingly filthy - I was scared to use it. The tables were greasy, sticky and salt all over them. Friends and I were there 2 hours and no one ever cleaned a table. Went to counter for Sweet and Low and a cream container and the staff couldn't understand English. Had to get a English speaking person out of the back room. Been going here since 1985. Never going back. Wish Michael never sold to these guys. The loss of such a wonderful business- tragic. Don't know any other business that will ever live up to the quality, quantity, prices and customer service that Michael's provided prior to the sale. Will never go back there. Adios Michaels.

New ownership is absolutely horrendous. Have been a customer of Michaels place for over 20 years. Ordered the fried clams which were old and absolutely disgusting called the store back to get a new order or refund my money was told they can't do anything. I will never order from there again.

I always used to eat at michaels and rave about it but now that Michael sold it..its gone way down hill. Its embarrassing to have michaels name associated with it. They now have a Greek style pizza OR "Italian". The Italian has 10lbs of grease on it and might as well be Greek pizza and they charge 2$ more for italian. It is absolutely raunchy pizza im not a fan of the Greek style but I can tip my hat to a well made piece this was like cardboard with plastic cheese on top. The chicken which Michael made flaky and juicy inside was like a fake nasty battered crusted chicken. I will not be returning.

I used to go to Michael's at least once a week and I loved it. Now the new owners have taken over and the quality of the food and service have went down.
I have experienced more food related mess ups in the last 2 months, under the new owner, than the entire 10 years prior under the original owners.
Try it once, if everything goes good for you, keep going. Me personally, I'm done.response / report this review -

Tremendous food. Been going there off and on for more than 25 years. Moved out of the area a number of years ago but any time I am in the area I try to time things so I can lunch there. Real veal cutlet subs too big to fit in your mouth for real reasonable money. Greek OR Italian pizza.

We ordered 5 dinners, they got 4 wrong & the pasta was "al dente " it was SO hard it could not be eaten. Ordered rice in place of French fries on 2 of meals, all meals came with French fries, we brought them back & they did exchange it but said it's how they come. When we explained we did ask for rice instead, we were told our girl on phone does not speak or understand English very well. He put his hand in our meal, scooped fries out & threw them on counter & literally threw large spoonful of rice in. I was appalled, previous owner would NEVER treat customers that way nor handle the food that way. Needless to say, we walked out w/out our food & will NEVER go again. It's a shame, we've been going to Michaels for 11 years. Disgraceful & Disrepectful towards the customers, they need a lesson on how to treat them correctly!

This place has good food. Pasta dishes are big enough to feed two. But their specialties are their fried seafood and steak subs. I wish they sell fountain drinks but you have to buy bottle soda from them. The problem I have is that the inside is so rundown. That kept me from eating there all the time.

Very Good food, service and portions. Price is reasonable. I have been 6-8 times since the new owner took over and have not been disappointed. There are plenty tables so not to noisy however the room needs an update. 👍
