Great food and fantastic service. I love this place.
Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Michael's on Mulberry was fantastic. Thank you so much for making this a great evening for our son and soon to be daughter-in-law.
The grouper was excellent, and Annie and rest of staff were very attentive!
Food and service was FANTASTIC. Definitely will visit again and recommend to others!!!
Came for breakfast but there is no breakfast on SATURDAY. But other than that it was great, helpful.
A nice, quiet little stop with really great food at nice prices, open during different times of the day for different meals.
Macon staple, the breakfast and lunch are very good. One of the best waitstaffs in Middle Georgia. Lots of important people in Macon eat here since it's right across from the courthouse. Pasta special during lunch is a can't miss, and the steakburgers are great too.
This is a fantastic, and very reasonably priced, COMFORTABLE place to dine. The service is exemplary. The venue and decor are very special, in a uniquely stylish older building. Order anything on the menu, you'll be sure to enjoy your experience here.
Always has great food and great service.
Loved the food. Been twice so far, and the service hasn't let me down yet. The food is out of this world
We went there for mine and my son-in-laws birthday. We were half way threw when my granddaughter found a hair in her food. when we told then about it the acted all horrified and brought her something else. when the check came we expected them to at least offer SOME discount.
When the check came and they didn't do anything I asked for the manager. A girl named Jamie come to the table all huffy like I took her cupcake. I asked her if she was a manager and she said she was all that that was there. I told her what happened and she said that we gave her another plate and said that they didn't give discounts. They would give her a mixed drink or desert. I told them a 15 year old doesn't get a drink and we didn't want a desert. they said fine and waited to be paid.
My granddaughter DID NOT WANT to eat after that and just picked at it.
Everyone else then started to look at their food very carefully too.
The hair wasn't the main problem, it was the RUDE attitude like we were the one who served food with a hair in it. I have tried to contact the owner but have had NO LUCK. l left 2 messages and still haven't been contacted.
I see by another post that someone else had the same issue at the same time frame.
We spent over 200.00 in there that night to have a nice meal for our birthdays and it DIDN'T have it. I hope this doesn't happen to you!
Nice setting and great location. Food was way too salty, which is a shame because it covered up what looked like a great meal.
I tried very hard to like this place since we share the same name. From my understanding, the restaurant is "Between the Bread" by morning/day and "Michael's on Mulberry" during the evening/night. I went while it was still "Between the Bread". Our waitress seemed a bit flustered and rushed as we sat down. She commented on how busy it was, which kind of set the tone for the rest of our visit. She did do a good job telling us what the daily specials were. One of the specials was "Seafood Tacos" with your choice of 2 (Grouper, Salmon, and Shrimp) and a side. I decided to go with the grouper and salmon with fries. Upon arrival, the presentation of the dish was appealing. Our waiter offered us fresh ground pepper for our meals. It paired well with the fries. After eating all of my fries and reaching the halfway point of my grouper taco, I noticed a long black hair in my taco. While I'm normally not disgusted by these types of things (I'm sure we've all blindly ingested hair at some point), this affected me more then usually because the taco was fully wrapped meaning that the hair had to fall in at some point prior to the taco being wrapped. Once I alerted the nearest waiter about the mishap, my dish was taken away and I was offered something else. At that point, I was not interested in anything else from there. This is just a heads up to look through your food thoroughly before eating it. I know this type of situation can happen anywhere, but an attentive chef should have eyes for these things. The sweet tea was superb though. I'm not sure if I'll be returning here.
If they aren't visibly busy, I would recommend this place. Otherwise, choose somewhere else.
