The best place to order from, when they say their eggs are fresh ,they mean it. Ordered some fertile eggs from here and they all were growing with a baby! Even from how far i lived! and also how many cool breeds they own. Will definitely order from here again.

I have ordered from meyer twice. I did end up having one bird with scissor beak who did not make it. I was credited back. All other birds were happy and healthy. Customer service has always been great!

Ordered six hens in the spring. Three are roosters. I live in a very quiet neighborhood where roosters are not allowed. Thisnoresent a huge problem for me. The manager told me they have a 90% sexing accuracy rate. Not Quite!

Ordered several different breeds of chicks and all arrived healthy and in great condition. Shipping was fast, only 1 day. Lost several chicks over next week and Meyer sent more. But lost some of those as well. Ended up having to treat whole flock ordered for coccidia at 6 weeks and lost some.

Second year using this hatchery. Ordered 100 broad breasted turkeys, received 5 extra and have only lost 3. Great quality poults for a great price.

Ordered several different breeds of chicks and all arrived healthy and in great condition. Shipping was fast, only 1 day to me. They had great prices for the breeds I ordered. I will order from here again.

Had a terrible experience with this company. Ordered some chicks through a special free shipping promotion. They called the following day to notify me that the order had been placed for pick up and not shipping, and that they have overlooked that when it came in. They indicated that they would be unable to honor the free shipping and that I could cancel the order and get a refund if I wanted. I called back two business days later to indicate that I wanted to cancel and get the refund, and received a subsequent email that my purchase would not be refundable. Called back to ask about this twice, and was told both times that the manager that would handle this was out and would call me back. Waited to hear back five days the first time, called back, and got the same indication that the manager I needed to speak to was out. Have been playing phone tag since, and no indication that I will ever be receiving my promised refund.

Terrible customer service to this point, and I do not understand why the free shipping could not have been honored in this situation, as well as why this company then liked and told me the purchase could be refunded when they have since shown no indication of having the intention to refund my money.

From the first impression speaking to the customer service representative taking my order to receiving my chicks and ducklings I am beyond satisfied!!!! Every question I had was answered and explained to me, they never made me feel rushed or as if my questions were unimportant or silly the gentleman gave me great tips and advise! My chicks and ducklings came in to the date and time expected! All 17 chicks and 6 ducklings are in great health, they are sweet, cute, active, curious and funny to watch! They are additions to our family and very loved! I can't begin to thank Meyes Hatchery for an amazing experience!!!!!! Kristin

Got my first order of chicks from Meyer Hatchery (went in with a friend) and they arrived in excellent condition--especially compared to the chicks one might find at Tractor Supply! The last time I bought from TS, I lost three the first night. Today, all of my chicks are looking great. Customer service was attentive, friendly, and the people at Meyer seem to really care about the animals and took great care with even our small order. I couldn't be more pleased.

This is my 1st order with Meyer Hatchery. They arrived this morning all alive, however I have one baby chick that seems that she may or may not make it. Little bit smaller than the other babies and just not quite as active after I got her in the brooding box like the others are. I understand that this happens from time to time. When I opened the box up it was nice and warm in there, I was very happy that they provided a heat pad since its still just cold enough here in ND. I don't think I got much sleep worrying about them when I got the text that they have been shipped. Now I can rest easy.
