Mexico City Grill is a beautifully decorated family run restaurant. The staff are so wonderful, always happy to see you. They treat you so well, you are sure to have a good meal and time. We love the Tacos El Pastor and the Steak Fajita Salad. Also the owners son is in the military and he is a proud parent. Can't wait till we go again! SEE YOU THERE!!

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! All the food is amazing, and the chips and salsa (and queso) is heavenly! The portions are huge, making the price rather reasonable. My friend and I have been coming here for years as our special "treat." It's a little loud and can be busy, but it's absolutely worth it.

Been regulars from the neighborhood for over 9 years. Great service. Wide selection. Family devours chips and salsa (seriously embarrassing.) But they fill the basket and little bowl happily every time. Recommend Mi Bandera and Chili Colorado.

You know it only takes one time to turner you nose up at a places. We would go here a couple times a month until one Monday night on a kids night where the kids eat free with a adult purchases. The chicken figure kids me came out burnt. The chicken was so dark brown it was almost black. I looked at the servers because we had two or three waiting on us guess they work together not sure. Told them this was crazy no one could eat this. They took them turned them over and brought them back a few minutes later. At this point I td them no thank you and was ready to go we paid the bill and that's when manager came over to see how the meal was. Little late at that point won't go back.

This place used to be amazing. But has gone down hill. Service was ok during my visist but cheese tasted burnt and my fav dish wasnt as savory as before likely will not return😦😡

The food is almost always wonderful! The last few times however the wait staff has left a lot of room for improvement. The rarely smile and you have to search for them if you need anything. Mexico City Grill has a great product they just need to retrain their employees!

She brought us our chips and salsa when we first arrived. No drinks for Bout 10 min. Waited another 5 for our cheese dip. Food came which I eat w chips and I asked for refill and that took about 7 more minutes. Food is good. But when we were done a ROACH CRAWLED ON THE WALL BESIDE ME. I almost threw up. Meal was free thankfully. Will never go back. My review is the 2nd that has seen a roach there. Wish I seen the first one before we went. Imagine how many have seen them that didn't leave a review

Good food, reasonable pricing. If all you get is ground beef items, you're cheating yourself of their better experiences. Pollo anything, particularly Jalisco. Carnita, street tacos. Avoid the steaks, one we had was stringy and fatty.

Been coming here for years now and this is hands down the best authentic Mexican food on the south side. Yes we've had our had experienced here, but every place has their bad days. As a Iraq was veteran, I love the fact that the owner's son is a U.S Marine and there's a picture of him hanging on the wall. Great beer prices and the pullo creamoso is my go to dish. Love this place!

We eat here weekly for the consistently great food. They have the best chips/salsa/queso of any local mexican restaurant and fair prices, especially lunch and when kids eat free on Monday nights. Always easy to find coupons as well. Down 1 star because service is not always prompt.
